The Yen is one of the strongest currencies in the world and depending on how you obtain your PSN credit it could mean your paying double for exactly the same item than if you used euro pound or dollar example a pair of granzella shorts 200 yen the current straight exchange rate would make them approx £1.60 but if you buy your psn cards off internet using paypal it could cost approx 2.60 for the same pair of shorts, there are no shorts in EU or NA regions that come close to that price, Japan have very little in bundle prices as well, Just check before you buy in Japan first because its expensive if your outside of Japan

Well, the cheapest way is to just make friends in Japan. You might meet someone in Japan who wants to buy things for their NA account. Or eu. The next best are online sites like gateway-to-Japan.com. (although that guy is temporarily on vacation). eBay can also have some good deals, but some jerks try to sell you a used PSN card.
