I've never been a PC gamer by any stretch of the imagination...So SL would be too confusing for me I believe....But anyway...wish I would have had the means to use Home years ago... I Bet it was a lot of fun back then... Being on the Ground floor of anything would be exciting I think.... Oh well...that's how life is I guess I'm thankful for places like this on on the Web where we all as Home users can meet up because it's hard to if not on each other's friends list
Home does everything well. Where some of its pc competitors do things great and other things poor, SL is confusing and if you turn up in the wrong space it gets worse. I turned up in old Rome on SL and found it was a gay roleplay space. I also went to a vampire space and nearly got bitten, which in SL you get bitten you are a vampire. But event wise you can nearly always find an event particularly if your into a certain genre if music. So Karen can find a country and western night outs ok lol. Plus the amount of freebies in SL is obscene. Could spent a month unpacking them all. Imvu is all about clothes and music, not sure whether it holds the licenses but it has every brand of clothing you can think of. An item list that makes homes item list look tiny. It's impossible to look at every item in IMVU it would take approx 5000 days if you started looking today. And IMVU is simple to use. Home Has it's Pros and Cons... One big thing i do like about it is the freebies...I'm finding out it's all about what spaces to visit for them....But also the mini games are fun as well....Orb Runner is fun as well as Sky Fishing in Aurora I guess it's all in how one looks at Home.... I guess us Newbies (at least myself come in expecting this Grand Online Adventure....I guess for the Most part it can be...It's all in what WE as the Users look for...Not to say that we should ever look for anything Grandiose in Presentation...But it is nice to see it done in a realistic scope of things.... it's almost like having Facebook or any of those kind of sites to use....How many of the friends on the Friends list there does anybody ever talk to realistically? Not very many I'm afraid...
Tonight I went and actually tried Second Life....Karen is right about the graphics being not as good as Home's and the UI is uop WAY DIFFICULT TO FIGURE OUT! Avatar setup is difficult too....Might try Imvu Next...But I am loyal to Home because it has great ppl on it and is mega easy to use!

Does anyone have any idea what's going on with the bowling alley? I tried to go there last week and it kept freezing my machine. All my friends say to avoid it. Has anyone been brave enough to venture there to see if it works yet, lol? On another note, Pure Pool on PS4 is awesome if anyone is a fan of billiards. You can play against friends, randoms and developers even if they aren't on line. You can also play against your honey while you both cuddle up on the couch (until I win and that changes the cuddle portion of the game night) lol.

Hope GZ and Sony ban all the cheaters again and erase their scores — without wussimg out that is. This action occurred during the HK Money God event last March — bans and resets occurred after users used an exploit to increase theirs scores dramatically; however, when a new exploit was discovered afterwards, GZ and Sony utterly failed to take action. The event (though fun) was a bit horrible, treating players as cheaters when some of them didn't do anything but caught the bug. Faga and I were victims of this dispute and Sony Asia didn't just fix the issue, but temp ban players from playing and resetting their scores to zero. So much for their security and tech know-how there. They treated us like losers, and they didn't help us get compensation like bringing back our old points, the gold clothes, or an apology reward or anything like that. I was so upset with them. It was mostly Sony Asia's fault than Granzella's since GZ didn't create the game, but helped make the doll rewards and using their spaces for the game itself. Worst event ever.
There's something very fishy going on at The Digital Leisure Casino Poker Room. My Ps3 freezes and I've lost about 300 chips bc of this freezing. Strange thing is...My system only freezes when a certain avatar is there in The Poker Room. Hmm...Vwery Vwery Suspicious. I can't even finish a game of poker there anymore without freezing. It's sad when you are just about to win and then BAM!! FREEZE! This has been happening for about two weeks now. I just immediately leave now when I see that particular avatar there. What's going on?? And is this harming my ps3??
I never played the Casino as much, since I'm usually just region hopping a lot, so I'm not sure. Maybe it's DL's server?
Well, there are some issue with certain clothing or outfit in some home space. You need to test it one by one, until you find which item is conflict with that space. I did have same problem in Plottermore library space, some clothing or outfit are having conflict there. The avator stop loading any texture data, and can't move. you end up going back to personal space, change the clothing and come back.
GZ's Mononoke Extermination, I am wondering the ranking reward if "Happi Coat and Headband Cat" is a companion, that will be really cool.
Some quick references to the creatures in Mononoke Edo's event: Konaki Elder (or Konaki-jiji) is supposed to be a yokai ghost of an abandoned child or baby that was laid to rest and left to die in a forest dwelling. The ghost was supposed to lure unsuspecting travelers or samurai by crying in a distance. Upon finding the child or baby, once the person picks it up, it suddenly turns into a heavy stone and crushes the person to death. Similar to the Home event, the Konaki can also grab onto the person and immediately turn to stone, weighing down the person with its crushing weight. Kamaitachi is another form of yokai animal spirit of a weasel that has a blade for a tail, hands, and feet. It supposed to cut people unsuspectingly when higher winds are involved, that the person that was cut didn't realize it until afterward. Their blades are so fast that it blends in with the wind very well.
