i hopped onto my US main account and noticed there was a code (7JPL-FFN7-JC6C) on the 'News screen'. This code gave me a Nine-Tailed Fox companion, an Energy Pulsing Sword, Animated Microphone & Music Notes (Female) and an Animated Retro Game Wall.
Now that you mention it, I remember reading 'energy pulsing sword'. I recieved everything except for that. Looked through everything in my wardobe, to inventory, to rewards. The sword is nowhere to be seen :/ weird. Maybe it will pop in, tomorrow. Thefox/kitsune is pretty cute /)^3^(\
the sword is a Male hand item. go figure, huh? just like the mic is a female only hand item. i do love the Nine-Tailed fox, nice addition to the 'Normal fox' i have.

You'd think someone in charge of the "Challenges" development at Sony would have already got that message through their heads — especially after all these months of complaints — but I'm beginning to think it's a lost cause. There was really no excuse for not including both male/female versions of the previous three full-body outfits for each challenge period; all could have have easily been released for both genders with but minor alterations (if any; they could have easily been released for everyone "as is"). That is, no excuse except for laziness or utter stupidity. So much for their "doing the right thing." And this isn't a new complaint — users have taken Sony to task for the mostly male gender-based rewards since Home was initially released. And despite appeasing assurances that those concerns were heard loud & clear, they continue along the exact same development route year after year. Just sad. As for truly "doing the right thing", what can one really expect from a company that rewards blatant cheaters following a well-publicized event — Asia's recent Final Challenge from Money God Family? Sony did initially do the right thing by purging cheaters/exploiters a week into the event, resetting all their scores and banning them for a mere two days (although the ban should have lasted for at least a two-week period, if not for the entire event duration). Unfortunately, a new method of cheating/exploiting was soon discovered, with many of these same users — and far too many new ones — going at it again because they could, rising up in rankings far quicker than possible, especially at higher score levels. Sony knows who the new cheaters were, they were even contacted about it by several user who have verifiable proof, yet in the end they did nothingness to resolve this second set of blatant cheating — they decided to completely ignore it. maybe they have female suits lined up for the next couple of challenges. doubt it though. would've been nice had they alternated between male and female outfits.
