I created a thread in the NA forum to address their dropping Holiday events. Sony has dropped Holiday events..... | PlayStation® Community Forums If you can, please add your voice to the discussion. I think Sony should reverse course and start supporting Holiday events again.
They released both Frankenstein's Monster and Bride of Frankenstein's Monster a couple years ago for NA exclusively.
Those were not FRANKENSTEIN those were knock-off Costumes that USA did back then. And YES I Bought those years ago. But EU had the REAL FRANKENSTEIN Costume and USA HOME NEVER had it before. So if its coming tomarrow then its NEW to USA HOME! Not those cheap Knock-Offs we had years ago CRAP! Those things were a JOKE! Nuff Said!
Well I have both, and as far as I am concerned the NA version is far superior and instead of the generic face that makes everyone look the same, the NA version lets you customize the avatar... and where did you get the idea the NA version was some kind of knock-off... and you keep saying "years" as if Home has been around for a decade. Yes, the costumes for both regions came out two years ago, and two is technically "years", but come on already. Let's try and keep the hyperbole down to a minimum please, it just makes you seem more unreasonable. It's incredibly ironic, that if you had visited the EU forums they whined about how they wish they had the NA Frankenstein. Go figure.

Sadly it appears that some feel that HCV events are special. Most do not have an HCV on their list and most don't even know they exist. I suppose it's great for the HCV's who attend but it's certainly NOT A COMMUNITY event of importance. Japan knows how to have events. To be fair we are seeing more events in NA (Uncharted, Dead Island, Resistance) although I have to admit so far the holiday events don't seem to be able to compete. We'll have to wait and see what nDreams has up it's sleeve. The recycled Thanksgiving and Halloween CP events are rather disappointing.
There is another reward (Bumble Bee - Sodium2 Racer Paint Scheme) which you get if you stand on the raised stage in the center of the Sodium room.
At least this year for Halloween, the Demon Pumpkin Gourd gives off 4 pumpkin ornament rewards instead of the costume from last year. At least, let's look forward to the turkey run for a different reward this time around next month.
