WOW, 4 days off now!!! No will at all to use PS3 since early today with no online functionality At least the last note from PS Blog said they were re-building the entire network so these errors don't happen again, and i'm hoping it does not happen again in a long weekend like this was.
So far the scuttlebutt is that Japan PSN will come online monday. EU and NA will come back on tuesday. No one will notice when PSN Asia comes online..... ;D Just kidding! (I actually really like Home HK)

He's crying how sony hasn't given any answers on when PSN will be up & how he can't play his games online, mortal kombat Portal2 & soccom4....seriously whine much? I mean WOW! okay i have a PS3 & XBOX360 & PSP & Ya know what PSN being down isn't going to stop me from enjoying my games, Online play isn't what i buy games for unlike that backwards ape talking in the video. It's amazing how the members on a website that's centered around users that spend 24/7 on PSHome if they could is more clam & handing the situation better then some of the people that buy games just for the online experience, I mean really. Well, everyone that buys a PS3 has a purpose for it. Some ppl only play online, and I know a lot of ppl like that. ppl who are trophy hunters and are not synching their trophies are suffering right now ppl who miss their PS HOME friends are still missing them for four days. ppl who only have one PS3, and no xbox360, no wii, no psp and no ds have every right to complain.
LOL FF! I am actually enjoying the break. All this anger in some of the web sites all seems childish to me. None of us like it, but it happened. Oh well. My only concern is Sony's lack of communication with its customers. To me, this is the most annoying part of this whole saga. Particularly the silence as it pertains to our credit card data on their severs. Did that get hacked too? They are not saying. They owe us at LEAST to tell us that much. I'm much more concerned about that then not being able to use PSN. When big banks and credit card companies get hacked and info is stolen they inform the public. What is Sony's problem? Why can't they say yes or no? All big publicly traded corporations have shareholders to answer to. To keep them happy, the corporation loves to show continued increased profits. Sony is no different in that regard. However, my personal opinion is that Sony has been too skimpy with re-investing in Home and PSN. Home has always been slow to see updates and even slower to see problems fixed. And Sony's customer service is non-existant when it comes to taking care of their customers. Again, possibly due to under funding? Who knows. Let's just hope it's back together soon. First thing I will do is remove my credit card data. Even though I have only used PSN cards for sometime now.
All those without PSP & XBOX360 & DS i feel for them i really do & it sucks there's noting anyone can do to get PSN back online any faster but to be patient. I think there should be another way to keep in touch with PSN friends your trophy & your account information all in one in situations like this. lol wonder how many of my friends i can get to join after all this is over. This website is great for it, works using a PS3 browser you can message each other & doesn't require PSN to run, too bad you can't sync trophy information. Forums a perfect substitution for communication when PSN is down lol

I'd change my passwords & e-mail addresses too, i usually do anyway every once & awhile. I don't know if it's been talked about but what happen to the New central the New Mall like in the concept. I thought 1.50 was suppose to bring all that in. Maybe sony was adding all that & it caused a system crash
Well ...I have not complained the last few days about the PSN Outage because it can happened but now it's getting a bit annoying. A multimillion company like SONY has no backup plan for situations like that ? I don't now so much about how this Network works and what makes it tick but I think SONY has a lot of very smart people who are able to fix things like the outage in a very short time. ...apparently NOT I'm not desperate to go online 24/7 but if I like to meet up with my HOME-Buddies I like to connect or play my online games. Don't get me wrong I'm not pissed or frustrated I'm just wondering if SONY know how many people they make to reconsider the X-Box purchase now !!! I'm PlayStation guy and this will never change. I'm just a little bit disappointed about the lack of information and the lack of urgency on Sony's site. Well...I feel a bit better now after I blew a little bit of steam :kicking: off to go Car shopping now... I am looking at a Mini-Cooper
Being on the forum i'm sure helps ease the lack of PSN pain for some. I really hope those that have games like DC universe online & Free realms are compensated for the down time especially if they bought a month membership or paid for a months access to DC universe
I've been saying it for a long time now. Sony needs to hire better nerds. These past few days have further reaffirmed that belief.
Personally - I am not holding my breath on any sort of compensation from Sony. It would be nice..........but...........this IS Sony after all. JPConway
