Its not as "important looking" as it was on Lithium, though. Jive, I really don't notice the likes until I'm already past the post. Lithium, they stuck out on the topic list, and in those big bright boxes.
Its freaking ridiculous how I attempt to post my first thread since Jive took over, and I can't even get a picture to post along with text. Unbelieveable............there, got that off my chest
rofl chad, atleast you can post over there right now although it is a choir from what i hear. one of these day they will learn that the easier it is to move around the forums,post,edit, and read the more people that will be there (atleast i hope they do lol ).
Not particularly that pictures can't be posted. I'm simply saying I went to go post a discussion about the Red Dead Redemption Social XP Challenge with Home outfits as unlocks, and I was able to post the text but I also wanted to post a picture along with it but it kept giving me a Session Error message, it wouldn't let me post my picture.
Well, that's a pretty serious problem. Especially for the ladies who post in Joanna's thread I should think. I sure hope they're on that.
Kim was having issues and I had trouble posting an image at one point. Just so many issues with the forum it's beyond belief. What is the point of all the bells and whistles if you can't do basic stuff. Don't know who at Sony tried using this first before making the decision to move. They certainly must have been accountants and not forum users.
The picture uploading error is a real thorn in my side when it comes to posting in the Fashion Runway.... I took me about 3-4 hours to do my latest post correctly...
I'm still getting errors and I have a photo shoot together. The person running that server/software monstrosity needs to get fired and they need to hire someone who knows what they are doing. It's beyond unreal at this point.
you would have thought they would have went with the old moto if it isn't broke don't fix it. well they just had to try and make it better and ended up breaking it *shakes head*. but still to go this long with out doing something about it is just shocking.
So it isn't just me, that's somewhat of a relief...then again, there shouldn't be these kinds of errors for the most basic tasks. And yes Jo, someone needs to be fired over at Jive, whole staff perhaps
true jo and chad that something needs to happen at jive for them having such a crappy service. but at the same time i am surpised that heads are not rolling at sony also for the fact they are still using that crappy service. i mean you could understand when they first changed over that there would be bugs and that it would take a couple of weeks to get everything straight. but what it has been a month and from what i have been hearing things are getting worse people having trouble posting, editing , finding the topics they want, drop in post and now posting pics. with all that if it was me if i had not already changed over i would be looking to now.
The last post times are so messed up again, how hard is it to sort a database table by time order right :s It's like the most basic of forum systems there is.
Well it depends if you are in the real world or in the Matrix. This is the reply window I'm getting now when I hit reply over there – no icons whatsoever in the posting window.
Little tip Jo, top right side click where it says "Use Adavanced Editer", has right now your on the html editer. It's like this forum you click on the a/A button to swap from adavanced to basic editers.
I think we will be stuck because Sony probably made some sort of contract. And getting out of that is a messy affair.... btw, I'm noticing HOME NA Official forums are very unhappy to day. People posting "i'm leaving" threads. Of course in two days it will be nothing but Killzone threads....
Add me to that list. I'm already gone. I can get everything I need here. I'm done wasting what leisure time I have with their arrogance. I can put that time to better use being on Home and playing games.
Anyone who's read any of my recent posts over there already knows how I feel about the new anti-forums. I won't repeat myself except to say that they suck at least as much as you'd expect anything else the NA team does to suck. So, is this (semi-)officially where we're migrating to?
