i think they are gone for good. the message on the poster near the door says that they had to remove the furniture to make the new tv work and that we can get free furniture and sorry for the inconvenience. i would really have no problem at all if they just increased the item limit from 50 to 60 to make up for the new replacements

All I Will Say Regarding This Issue Is That, You Have To Give The Developer Some Time To Explain What Happened Regarding The EOD And The Furniture. If The Hollywood Hills Is Removing Their Built In Furniture .. That's Fine By Me, I Hated Them Anyway And On The Plus Side I Get A Large Space To Decorate Whichever Way I Choose. Sure It Seems That People Are Wondering What Happen To Their Spaces .. So Hopefully By Monday, We Get Some Information From Loot Developers. ;D Still Hopeing For An Item Limit Upgrade, You Never Know .. Seeing As We Got A New Plaza And All .. It Might Be Possible
While an (active or otherwise) item limit increase would be useful, it stands to reason that if it was a simple thing to do, or even a difficult thing to do, Sony would have done it a long time ago. After all, it's been one of the most popularly requested changes for two years now, and with an expanded limit it would encourage more sales of items - so there is a real financial incentive for Sony to expanded the item limits. The fact that they have not suggests to me at least that the issue is probably much more complicated then anyone imagines. That isn't to say that at some point they'll be able to expand it, anything is possible, but the way some folks would have us believe is that Sony is limiting the items just for the heck of it - which is a set of logic that I do not subscribe to - as it makes no sense. As far as the theater seating goes... so does anyone know where the free items are? I can only find the free Modern furniture for upstairs. Luchian said something about if we could access the EDO we could get the free theater seating, but Luchian has yet to respond with more specific detail than that.
They should put it in the mall. I think it's only available at the moment with the EOD screens. I just checked and mine are non functional. What is a bit disturbing was one recent post at ps.com saying that the theater furniture is hard to place downstairs even for those who have it. I suppose we'll have to wait and see before knowing if that is true. My understanding that it will require 6 slots to replace the theater seats. I'm trying to figure out what I can remove in order to fix the theater which is for me at least the best part of the space. I simply don't understand (and maybe they will) why they don't just build in the seats that are available for free.
ridiculous This is the only house i have (Hollywood hills) and I got so mad when this happened. And I had JUST bought it!! And I dont want to spend more money on furniture. I sent them a complaint earlier, thinking I was the only one with this problem. They responded with NO answer whatsoever. I was like, really? What do I do now!?!?!?
They made up for this by giving us free furniture! It's in the loot furinture section of the store "tiki sofa, chair & modern black sofo, corner chair, chair, ottoman" it should have 0.00 for the price if you own Hollywood Hills space.
My problem is I was full on furniture items. 50 (+2) furniture items were in my apt. So now I have to delete a fifth of that to restore the furniture Loot took out. So It's like I lost 10 furniture slots. (or so) Plus i have floating furniture pieces. Like planets and pictures on walls that didn't have picture points. So if you come close to a furniture that's floating, it will fall permanently. You can't float furniture anymore. They patched that.
I heard the furniture made way to allow extra memory for the crackle movies, the missing furniture is one thing but what has happened with the sound, you stand outside the door, you put a boom box just inside the door and press play the sound goes dead from the outside to the inside you walk inside it comes on full blast go back outside it goes dead again, same on the yacht as well you walk off the rear deck onto the roof or inside the sound goes dead again, very weird, and wheres the pelicans gone, starting to feel like the price is too high for a bunch of classic movies, I could buy them for less than I paid for the spaces and the furniture inside them.
The only seating I would keep is, for the theater downstairs. I didn't like the upstairs seating, as it clashed with my decor ideas for Hollywood Hills and took up valuable space. So I would be okay with them keeping that seating gone. I'm sure they could fix all of the issues that have come up, without having to put the seating back. Personally, it would be nice if we could get a choice on having our apartments come partly furnished or empty. I'm not a fan of spaces that come furnished, even if it's just a little bit furnished.
The only good thing bout a furnished apartment is it gives me somewhere to put my turkeys mash and other small trinkets without killing my 50 item limit my mansion ground floor kitchen is full of food
