Yup. Hopefully I got the timing right. Just hide the original subs. Either change the name of the sub file or stick it in a folder apart from the main movie. Then you can just change the name of my file to match that of the movie and it should play automatically.
Another great thread started by VampireWicked, I'm definitely going to try and check out "House" recommended by Art_Of_Ronin, the trailer for it peek my interest as well as my humor. I will now recommend a hard to find, but excellently done Japanese live-action movie both in concept and visually. "Aragami" or "Aragami: The Raging God Of Battle" which revolves around "Aragami" an supernatural/immortal samurai who is invincible in battle, but has grown tired of his immortality and seeks for someone to defeat him. I think they have a similiar feel in many ways. You just have to get use to a space godzilla guy. But then you just watched a WWII battleship in space. So heck, why not? ;D And it's free on hulu.com in SUBTitlES!! It's also in dubbed. But I can tell you, two of the main voices are weak. And they take alot of the character out of the story. The Captain has a grating english actor. Hard on the ears. And the main character, Dhianerra, is not humble and quiet like her japanese voice, but rather heroicly brave. That may not sound too bad, but it really has a bad effect in the long run. Part of the tension of the story is the weight of Dhianerra's burdons. On a quiet meek girl, that's significant. Not so much on the brave heroic americanized version. So you lose that aspect of her. Andd that's integral to both the story, and the relationships people feel toward her. The music is really good so you might want to pump up the sound. And the visuals are nice. So put it at full screen to get the most out of this.
