Yeah, it seems that for those that did get the reward before, you're not able to watch those episodes again unless it's a specific episode you needed to watch to make the first Macross list complete. Then, you'll be getting the SDF-1 robot after you completed all of it in the Theater. I still think it gives it to you rather than hunting down the heart icon in the auditorium.
I got it after I finished watching the first episode on the first floor while still in the theater. Already had 5 episodes watched from last time. So yeah, guess I didn't need to hunt down the heart icon.
More accurately, my avatar sleeps (or idles) through them. I just do something else or flip the TV to the cable box for half an hour. It might be a lame excuse on my part but I'm not really into anime and the language barrier makes it difficult to know what's going on.
I just view the screen (highlight the japanese "Screen" katakana and select X to zoom in), and then leave it idle while doing something else.
If anyone wants to understand this, Hulu has the episodes in English. There are two versions of each episode. One is called Robotech, which is a very heavily edited version. Robotech: Macross Saga Another is a direct translation of Macross, but the acting isn't as good. Super Dimension Fortress Macross Just look for episode number 1 and 2 near the bottom of the episode list.
