It's just so nice to have Japan back online. I love Japan and my password reset went so smoothly. I'm so happy.
Yes it was great i got keep mine and it went smoothly like jo said, plus i know my password now lol. Now just have to wait for hk to come back up.. I'm also wondering what jp and hk welcome back games will be..
Guess I'll pick up Last guy and Echochrome in Japan and get Locoroco and Trashbox/ Trash panic in Asia as I have Hustle kings and Wipeout HD already
Had my first exploration of JP home today, whilst the language barrier make it quite difficult for me, they have some great spaces and i enjoyed it. XD
Hey faga, I remembered seeing advertisement for the pay to play gomibako. Is that still around? I thought it was ended. But then maybe they forgot to delete all the advertisements for it? Btw Rachel, The japanese version of the game gave out the Trash bin costume (the legs and feet are actually good to use with other outfits) and there was a very nice black hoodie. Plus 3 large black gomibako figurine ornaments to win for the apartment.
It's still available and can be accessed through the arcade in the game space (and from the PS Store if I remember correctly). It needs the software, so for those that want to try it, they need to wait until the store comes back.
Sure is, I own it myself. Thing was a pain to get but it looks alright. The body makes your avatar look a bit thick but the hood with the Gomibako character design is the best part.
Feels good to see my friends in Japan everyone looked like they had a big smile on running around in hot sandals wearing there Komono's now all we need is for the mall to come back.
Sorry--I tried to read back and still am a bit confused. What game are the rewards that FF posted pics of from (in the club house)? Is that the same game that you get this hoodie from? Will these be games that you can get for free through the welcome back offer? I'm really not too up to speed on games in Japan that offer Home rewards as you can tell. :bangin:
Those rewards are from a different version of the Trash Panic game you're most likely familiar with. There's two versions, the normal version, found in all PS region stores, which once you buy it, its yours and you can play whatever levels without credits or charges per play. This version does NOT have those Home rewards. On the other hand there's a pay-to-play version known as Gomibako 100 yen, where you can download for free in the Japan PS Store, but you have to pay 100 yen for 3 credits. It has trophies, along with those Home rewards, but both are locked to the JP region. If you attempt to load up the game on any other region account you won't be able to pay the 100 yen and thus you'll be stuck with that game on your trophy list with a 0%. You get 3 credits, tries per 100 yen. There are three levels, if you lose at one level you can choose to use a credit to continue. If you win, you keep on going until you complete all 3 levels. After that you'll need to use another credit to play again. As for the Home rewards, there's pieces to the full Trash Can outfit, 3 pieces of Gomibako furniture, and the Gomibako hoodie. Each have different requirements, from getting certain scores at the end of all 3 levels, to completing the game on ECO. I used this guide I found a while back for some help and it did me wonders. I think you need to finish the game on "ECO" to get the hoodie. I remember trying to do that but failing. I did win the Gomibako suit (Gomibako is trash panic's name in japan). It consisted of a silly blue rectangular trash can hat, a shirt with a big blue trash can attached to it, and skintight black pants and black feet. I believe I needed a certain score for that. The 3 black figurine characters I think take a certain score to achieve. Each unlocks at a different score. I already have a blue trash bin reward from an event. But I heard you can get it from the 100 yen game. But that's a rumor. IDK for sure.... If you want to try for this, make sure you play the BLUE trash bin game and not the grey one. the Grey trash bin game only unlocks a grey trash bin reward IF you OWN the full game BEFORE you play the 100 yen game. (or so I hear). btw, before playing, I suggest you get some practice on this. You can either get the full game for free as part of the Welcome Back reward package or you can just play a demo of it. there is a trailer in the JP PSN store you can watch to pick up some skills. Or you can watch youtube.
Well I finally seem to have fixed my reward glitch after having won 24 new items at Midway the other day. On the other hand when I logged in this morning I got this new item while loading the navigator. I went directly to my Harbor Studio so I'm not really sure what it is or why I got it. Some say this is an older item but it was awarded today - 5.31.11. It's in wardrobe and a clothing item although it's not really clothes. It's illuminated with beams of light coming from the icon on the floor. I need to reload home to check what section now given I've forgotten.
Nice JoJo. Awesome pics. Believe it or not, I finally won the Alcove in the Ward of Despair last night (JP). ;D It's my very first Alcove. I have it in no other regions. Someone always died. :rip:
