No problem. And thank you for posting that link. It might help a few people. I use VPNs on my PC 24/7, but they're Canadian or European, which I don't really need for the PSN. I think I know where I can get a Japanese VPN, but I'm not sure about the cost though. Just to be prepared, I need to find Asian and Japanese VPNs which charge what I'm paying now (about $10/month). I've never tried to use a VPN on my PS3 though. I suspect I would just need to configure my router, but I'm really hoping it won't be necessary.

Well we won't be seeing Japan Home anytime soon like in the rest of the year it seems... It's just to bad that Japan's Off Switch is also putting asia home as risk as well...

I wonder if Granzella will be more open to publishing in the US and EU? I wonder if the whole IREM team that worked on Home left or just that lead designer? So many questions.

 

it seems like IREM is going under... If so we have seen the last of IREM in any Homes... AWW!

 

Been out of the loop here for quite some time....so JP and HK Homes aren't up yet? Bummer :/

At least they're taking the time to make sure the network is ready to be running on their side again, plus we have NA and EU to keep us preoccupied....and homicide cases that need to be solved, tis the life of Detective Phelps

 

It's the credit card companys in Japan that is tying up PSN in Japan! And then Japan itself has control over the on/off switch to Asia... So poor Asia homes can't come back on even if they want to... Talk about insane stuff!

That's why SONY needs to FREE ASIA from Japan's Control and let ASIA be FREE!

I just think Sony should start psn in japan without credit card access. that would allow multiplayer games to function. And users to communicate on PSN in asia and JP. Plus you could reopen Home. Let them just use psn cards for now.
