Just a reminder: The Izuma statue display box is in Neon Downtown's reward kiosk, worth 55 happy points. You'll need this to complete the 350 yen set. Also, GAW's Rod of Destruction and Chimaki bait are the LAST bunch of list of rods and baits to buy. The reward list finally opened up the last trial of the Rod of Destruction with 5 Chimaki bait as a reward (should be the first few on the list). Using this rod and the bait will open up another Koi companion (Blue) for 1500 points. In addition, if you catch both red and blue Koi fish and unlock them in the yellow book (if you got that one), there will be two more fish that will be coming later. Nope! I have no clue how to level up yet or if it's even possible right now. Someone else had asked and I would have thought if anyone would have done it then it would have been them that asked. The meter you see is a countdown to the samurai's eventual death on the battlefield instead of a leveling up so who knows what's what with any of this! :ninjafart:
Seems like Faga is at level 9 with his guardian samurai. I'm not sure as to how to level up my ghost companion at all. I need help. Oh, and you can resurrect him if he keels over - you just walk toward his glow when he's down and wait a few seconds to regenerate his health and he can get back on his feet.
From what I know, it seems the max is level 10. You'll definitely notice a change at level 5 and 10. The attacking power increases (lvl1:20->lvl5:25->lvl10:30), it's range (about 1.5~2x farther at lvl10 compared to lvl5), and time response in attacking. I'm not sure how much it changes between each level for the other levels though, but I kind of felt there was some minor increase in response and range (could be wrong on this part), no increase in attack though. The samurai guardian isn't really necessary at the moment, but it's a nice addition. If you have spend alot of items that increased your attacking power for your avatar then you probably won't see that much value in it, but if your using just the bamboo or weaker swords then it becomes a very good addition (the extra 30 attack does make things easier) Also defeating the red oni is alot easier with it (just bring him to a passage he gets stuck and make your guardian attack from long range ) Granzella is also thinking of bringing difficulty levels so that might make the guardian useful in the future. The only drawback I can think of is that it blocks your view. The frames around the game itself made it hard to look around, and now your guardian is additionally blocking your view.
To level up you just play the game a lot? or do you need to do something else? I only played a few times and mine is still level 1
