I got froze off the mole game. Hit 78K points! Woot! But, don't know if I gotten the king mole or anything from it after it froze. I'll come back and play once my PS3 slim cools off for a bit. I need help on the white points and the bike game. I still can't figure out how so many people have gotten a higher score than me. And, I'm at Level 26 at the moment.
Going to that new space was soooo much fun! Not! I think the 8 minutes I just spent peeking in on that space will be my last for the night, maybe several nights. Luchian messaged me about the lag in the space and I tried (for several minutes) to type out some words in reply but gave up. Re-tried and was able to type "wow" and then wanted to leave the space and promptly had a hard freeze/reboot. :surrender: If there are some fun games or supa cool rewards I look forward to checking this new space out again. If they're isn't any fun or rewards to be found, then bye bye to whatever that was. :dontgetit: I was wondering why people were going "back and forth" or whatever that was. To earn points? Seriously? Doing that over and over and over to earn points? Gimme a drink or some desert and the ability to chat about it if that's the case. :cheers:
Minus the random pop ups of HDD, and that does happen quite "a lot!" I don't say the space itself is a complete waste. My only problem is, I'm having a hard time earning points in the white number. I have 5000 in the gold, and I have three shirts, the crown earrings, and the wand/cane..bronze. I didn't get anything for reaching 5000 on gold, or unless it was a lag and not giving me an item. I just need tips on getting more points for white number? I can't seem to gain anything.
Home management is calling this a "pre-release" version of the lounge. I'm pretty sure they released it way too fast. Probably due to the lack of future events and store items, and with the closure of Neon downtown, Japan needed something, and this was the only thing they had.
Yeah, it does look like it's not fully complete yet. I can definitely see they hosting big events here in the future. Lets just hope they fix the HDD issue, and Trill seems to have a problem with typing..but I don't. The only time I can't type is when I get HDD, other than that..it works fine. Also, is there any hope Neon Downtown coming back?
From looking at Kujo's tweets, it seemed to have been a very serious decision of taking Neon downtown down. He said in the line of "need to make a critical decision of whether taking a big loss, or a bigger loss" I don't know what the main cause was (rumor was that hacking was involved), but if it's coming back, it'll probably take quite a while to fix and upgrade it.
I'm pretty sure Granzella will bring back Downtown because there are a lot of people, including me, that loves the space and want the rewards from the kiosk, even the serving rewards. There's been only a few glitches many people have complained about, and the best way to fix it rather than an update is to pull it out and test it. There's no record when, but I can guarantee Granzella will have it up and running and brought back before their first April Fool's event starts. Not only that, but they might give out more rewards in the kiosk as a way to say "sorry". As for the new space, it's very hard to understand how to get more speed on the bike game. I was terrible at it, but i did reached a new high score at least and a few white points - very small. As for the mole game, I won the butler and maid moles, but not the king mole, and it was strange because when I did play the mole game, and got very good at it, I had 96K and close to 100K, and was rewarded - but it was the crown earrings. Does anyone know how to get the king mole? And yes, the HDD is very annoying, and I also notice the gold points stay at 5000 instead of moving on up like it normally does, though it does count as level ups. Well I think most users would agree that it was great space, not only for rewards..but for communication as well. Yeah, there was a few bugs here and there and it especially had big bugs when it first was released. I'll admit, I'm just glad they didn't take away all the users rewards in the process. That I can be thankful, for.
Well you do have a point, rather than working on while it's still active or during a Home downtime. They just pull it, and fix the issues. Of course, there was a few bugs here and there. Faga mentioned, well that were a rumor about hackings which is crazy because back when the space first came out. A user could get over 100k under 10 hours. If they had help from supportive users, or friends. I don't think the items were that hard, after getting the 100k+ ones. The bike game isn't a favorite, but it doesn't seem to give me any good enough points. So far only two I've ever received from it. From what I heard, you have to beat your high score on the bike each time to get points. So good luck. So far, I have all besides the two earrings and the other staff. I'm hoping I'll be getting those very soon. If those items count towards the white points, it might be awhile til I get it.
going by previous issues they have had on spaces they have always repaired them during maintenance time, its got to be serious when they take the space down, no ones saying time scales for a return or even if it will return, which means they dont know, obvious Im sure, but as soon as theres good news about it, we will hear it, otherwise they will hope the memory just fades away, it will be very unlightly we will be told bad news unless they are pushed to release it, as for hacking, some people hack something because they can, not because theres a need to,
I'm not sure what kind of hack it is if it was true, but it could range from hacking the data to item hacks to store hacks. (For example, lounges such as EA poker and Uncharted 2 were used for item hacks, so it was taken down. never came back though) The rumor about some hacking was tweeted by some other user about a day or 2 before the take down decision. Before that tweet, Kujo was replying to people's reports and a possible fix being applied around late Feb. Then came the sudden closure announcement a day before maintenance. Don't know what is true, but it sure seemed the decision was made in a hurry.
I reached level 50 with 5000 points and 16 white points. The green bar scrolling across the top of the page is what? I have a feeling I need to do something because of that bar and the menu at the table. I'll find a JP user who can help and report back. riginal:
I think I may had discovered what the table is and for the options highlighting "New!". It's basically a Help section on the space around it, and the guidelines on what to do as a resident/guest and their games and points. The option that keeps highlighting "New!" is the title choosing whenever you gain a level. I think that whenever you see a blue bar between the angels and the mini-game counter when you're a resident, it means that you unlocked a new title name when you reached a certain level - same thing like Downtown's title changing whenever you gain a wall hanging certificate. And to Faga's response above: It may be more than likely they want to prevent hackers to use that space as their "breeding" reward ground, and therefore mess up everyone's plays. It seems possible that they decided to remove the space and bring it back with complete firewalls against them, but also make it more stable for players who want to serve and order without having any glitch or bug afflictions or missing out from the money/happy points when they had them last. So, all in all, Granzella is only testing and tweeking the space again and putting in these things against hackers and will probably be back in late February as Faga stated.
We should start listing the things we do on the platform that the king talks to us for. I did casual dance and the casual pose and was talked to by the king this morning, 50 points for one was awarded. When I left the space on the first day my list was filled but today there was only 4 items listed, so it seems that as your in the space and gaining points quests open up to do. 8)
Ok I just found out today that there is no way on earth your HDD should be spinning non stop while you are there in the Shoei Kingdom space, so if you are having that problem I recommend that you clear your cache and re-download the space, I did that and my HHD doesn't spin all the time now. Also I believe that your progress in the space is saved in the script file, although I would have to check that, so I would suggest you back up the file because if you happen to loose it you'll loose all your progress. As for the bike game, press circle as fast as you can change the gears as soon as they reach red and don't let your energy deplete completely, once you are on 6th gear and your energy bar is close to empty give it a few seconds rest then maintain a steady pace around 100 km/h and keep an eye on your energy bar, you should be able to do 20,000+ this way. And it looks to me that maybe you can only gain points on the bike once per day and also if you best your previous high score.
30 plays on the bike gets you points and a reward, no clue yet if it's the same for the mole game yet. I saw someone with a crown that I have not seen ever, looked much like the kings original crown from the show. ME WANTS!!! :w00t:
I think the mole game rewards are based on chaining high instead of score based, I got the King mole at around 75
75? wow nice going. I guess I have some work to do...think my best is about 10 lol Do you use analog stick or directional pad? I found analog stick allowed for "looser" movement but directional pad didn't seem quick enough. I'll have to try some more.
