karen, I just want to mention something. In Japan there was an error that could happen with the event which made quest 1,2, and 6 achievable. I believe if you skip these the base changed and they forgot to program a way for the quests to complete after it changes. The base changes slightly several times during the game from early to a black out version to a red alert to a mission complete version.

Now maybe Faga has info about this error being fixed. But until then... to avoid this error I suggest doing quest 1 and 2 asap.
For quest 1 you have to talk to quest man, talk to guy in pink in the station mission, and return and talk to quest man. You get a mask. For quest 2 you have to talk to the "Woman who ran away" NPC by the mission start for the station mission. Then talk to "Man who ran away" in the end area of the mission, then go back to the "Woman who ran away". Mission complete. You get a toilet.

Btw in the station mission, you don't have to kill anything except the two golden robots. Those are the only two that are needed to open the exit. All the missle launching robots are fixed. And most of them are so slow you can run past them. Which saves your health for the fight with the gold robots.

 

Following up Karen's post on quests:

Quests 1-5 - Usually these are simple missions given to you on each space. Just complete the objectives when talking to people with Quests on their heads before and after the mini-games, and visit them the next time around. Just be sure to talk to everyone, and talk to the Quest guy in the Secret Base to see your progress. Yellow text means that it's still in progress and you need to do something, red text means you're done and you need to talk to that person who gave the quest to you.

Quest 10 - Get the beret reward in the minister's room and after you beat him, talk to the robot on the floor that you see first. He'll give you the male and female swimsuits.

Quest 11 - You need to talk to the Quest guy in the Secret Base space and need to complete all 10 quests, but this time Quests 6-9 will be opened once you beat the king. Just replay the same scenes from Shinjuku Station to Rear UFO. I went through them like normal without going back to the beginning, and got their rewards after my second star rank, so as to keep more points up. Quests 6-9 is as follows:

6 - Talk to the pink suited bald guy and he'll ask you to rescue people at Shinjuku Station
7 - Talk to the scared girl and destroy the bipedal robots at Shinjuku Intersection
8 - Talk to the office clerk lady and save some people in the Shinjuku Government Office space.
9 - Talk to the female prisoner on the wall in the Rear UFO space and destroy 10 blue robots.

Each quest completed will be shown on a red banner following a scrolled message.

Remember to come back and talk to them again once you've finished the quests for the rewards. Finishing Quest 11 gives you the Kikai mask/helmet reward when you talk to the Quest guy in the Secret Base space again after completing it.

 

I soloed the entire event by myself with the free beam samurai and no companion in EU yesterday. No Edo armor for additional defense either. It's pretty easy except for the second Emperor battle. Beating him without help is tough.

 

You might want to add that in order to even get to the mission, you want to start a group.

 

Me too, I was shocked a little that I beat it without buying anything lol. I did die a few times, but went right back in it. It took me about 4 hours the moment it started to when I beat it which isn't bad. I guess Granzella thought about the people who couldn't buy any products :highfive:. It was fun can't wait till NA gets it

 

In JP there was an extra hallway in the secret base that you could enter after you finished. There was a blue GZ Force figurine as a reward for visiting the soldier in that hallway. I unlocked the hallway in the EU space but there was no soldier there. I wonder if they just forgot to add that part or what? Seems strange considering everything else from the event was exactly the same as JP.

 

Hi hop, in jp the blue haired guy ( Keith? ) disappeared from the main base into that hallway, in EU he stays in the main base room, u can get the figuring reward from him still

 

Oh really? Cool thx! This is after you have completed the game and quests? I was sure I did go back to him when I was done but maybe not after I completed the quests. Thx Jac--I'll check again. :thumbsup:

After you complete the game yes, I went to him after the game, I don't think i had all the quests done though,but i did get the reward from him

 

Also, I don't know if this is common knowledge,but if you have the Edo boosts ( recovery meds, pill for strength,,lucky charm for defence) these can be used in game, also the cross shuriken and kunai ) so, with my edo armour equipped, my attack is 79, defence is 33 , using the boosts its attack 86,defence 36 these can be used multiple times in missions with safe areas

That bonds of brothers quest... Do I have to lie to one of the brothers, or is there a chance I still find the brother? I still have to do the next levels so could look if I run into the answer there... Still don't feel like having to tell a lie unless I have no other choice - and yes I am aware this is just an npc but even there I prefer to be as good and honest as possible.

 

There's no other way. You need to lie to finish the quest.

 

Hmm yup noticed well done all quests now kind of done except for playing to raise points and get the flowers now. Unless I missed something?

 

hi all i need is quest 6 i have beat the game twice done everything i can got all the other rewards. But still cant get quests 6 to unlock my quests 11 is still in yellow and i have beat level 11 twice can u help?

 

Check with my recent post. I've added the quests there and where they're located.

You need to beat King Kikai in the UFO Front space and then go back to the Secret Base and talk to the Quest guy there to open Quest 11, which makes you finish Quests 6-9. Quest 10 is when you get the beret reward hat in the Minister's room while fighting him and returning it to the robot in the next room.

Once opening Quest 11, Quest 6 is when you talk to the bald pink suited guy in Shinjuku Station to get you started on saving the people in that area. Quests 7, 8, & 9 will eventually open up in the other areas. Just look for quests on the NPCs heads whenever you're not in battle. Then come back to them and talk to them for a reward (that also includes the Quest guy in the Secret Base space too).
