Did anyone check out the New section in there? There was an Asian Game Show event running from 21st through 24th this month at Home Square for AGS purple shirts, but there's no quest at all. Even Hong Kong Home's site failed to mention it.
Well, I did get the ags purple shirt (m/f) as the 1st day they start the quest, but the quest only last for 6 days. and quest server sometime can't load. be honest, the ps-home server did have some strange dis-connect problem in some space. in asia ps-home, everytime I try goto The Jewel of the Skies space, I will be dis-connected. when loading finish.
If it's anything like last year... and the year before that... Message of the Day says between January 1st to 4th, Home Square will be giving out a Japanese Hagoita, one per day: "A hagoita is a wooden paddle used to play the new year hanetsuki game. It's usually decorated with beautiful drawings. Even though kids don't play this game much any more, the paddle itself is valued as an ornament that is believed to bring good luck." HAGOITA The other rewards are the same ones that EU Home received from both this year and the previous two years from Winter Wonderland 2009 and 2010. Yes! A complete Christmas ballroom outfit with holly and streamers would have been way cool. The problem with these masks is that they all float about two inches away from the front of your face, so the effect is both awkward and stiff. As in ugly. They are better than the free DCUO mask rewards, but still.... I'm surprised these items managed to pass through QA. Did someone in marketting instruct the devs to deliberately fudge up the masks so that they don't affect future sales of real Mardi Gras masks elsewhere in Home, or what? Lame!
Sorry, still can't edit my previous post It might be region-locked, if mad-man and iggy were able to get it and you weren't. No big loss though.... it was only a purple shirt right? Jewel of the Skies definitely has loading issues with cross-region visitors, and so does Dream Yacht: Arctic Voyage and the GZ Burger space.
You could be right about it being Asia region only and it was locked off from American users, and also, they're just generic shirts. I just found it appalling that it wasn't mentioned before in their website. I've been to Edo and I found no one to talk to that give me a New Years reward as of yet. Maybe the old woman? I doubt it. Oh well, at least I got the VEEMEE present.
Nopes not region locked, the event might be over and your not missing out it's just another rubbish shirt.
I dislike these limited day events, what if life intervenes in our Home schedules, and we miss a day or two, then we miss out, bummer and a half.
Oh and by the way, the Granzella Fast Food Employee outfits are the coolest thing I've seen in a long while, and FREE!
Don't worry about missed the ags purple shirt, there will be some rewards on both GZ spaces for new year eve event, and the pier park as well. Just make sure get the GZ burger out-fit asap. I wish asia ps-home will starts another money god event for the up comming chinese new year in 2013. Just wonder if money god sister comming back. MOney God??!! Why would you want another Pink Shirt from PS Home Asia?? All they do is update the image on the shirt for each new event. I live in Asia and I have to say I'm so so over this Gangnam style, I like to call it Gundam style. Kids in the street singing it, cell phone stores blaring it, old ladies singing it. Ugh!
I still don't get it why they keep using pink shirt in stead of other color. what about yellow shirt, green shirt or black shirt. You know, 2 month ago, I visited my grand-mom in canada, I saw most audio/video shop, showing the gangnam style music video. It's everywhere. As a cat, I enjoy watching people chasing the money god in home sqaure. The reason to see which place to go for intercept the money god. The rewards aren't important, just enjoy running ! ---------------------------------------- Oh Hell. Is it just me, the loading speed in asia ps-home is very slow. Even Japan ps-home loading speed is a bit faster. I'm in hong kong, It doesn't made any sence to me. BTW, is there anyone notice that 7 people disappear from great edo of nippon space? 4 people are gone from the fair booths. 1 people are gone from the spa at 2nd floor 1 people are gone from the toilet at long house 1 running man at the main street. are they adapted by alien? LOL
Edo of Nippon public space has been updated across regions but the NPC people in the space shouldn't be missing. In general, if objects or people fail to load properly in a Home space, just quit and restart Home. In the past week I've had multiple spaces fail to load correctly: Peakvox Ninja, Aurora Trap-O-Matic, Shopping Mall 2 and especially the Uproar space (in NA) which took a couple re-tries. So I don't think it's just you having issues.

Oh, there is a alien adopt game at pier park. beside the largest pyramid, you will see strange alien symbols on the floor. the ufo will shows up and adopt a peoson and then let go later. But, I found it pick girl most of the time, and never pick me up. And I don't know why. Maybe the aliens don't want to adopt a half mad-man and half mad-cat being. It's too dangerous to them.

I choose great edo of nippon space, since I notice the southern island space take more time to load. Unlike Japan Region Edo Space, there was no the mono-eye giant spirit walking in the edo space for a while as the count down completed. I got 2 rewards from the girl in edo space, but you need the code to unlock it. There are another quest for 2013-1-1 to 2013-1-4, you can start the quest, and wait it home square you will get one each day.

I got the 1st hagoita after I finish the new year eve event. you need start the quest from the quest board each day. 2 more days to go
