yeah, but aren't all the avatars you download permanent? There's near 300 of those! Plus a few dynamic themes I've been wanting. *edit: correction. Most of those avatars still cost money. They just cost less.
Just a quick tip to anyone trying to download things from the 100 free items list, try going to the kiosks in the Theater Lobby. The Welcome Back items are found there as well, you might be able to download them there better and faster without as many errors ;D
Gonna have to do the 100 free items sometime next week when everythimg calms down. Out of all the 100 items, I only have one of them that I already bought. The were the skull belt buckle jeans.
I didn't think I would be able to get these freebies as I created my account after the outage, but I guess they're available for everyone. XD I think there was a good variety of items there, especially as I had nothing on that account. I suppose it doesn't matter as you can get the bundle for KIng Tut, but the individual sandle were still showing a 0.49 price tag, for me..
this may sound very arrogant what I say and i like to apologize up front but I am not happy with SONY right now. all the lame free goodies and ERROR messages left and right. I may have to calm down before I can enjoy the PSN again. I was hoping foe better free stuff.
Nothing but error messages now. I got up to the Bayonne sofa and now I can't download that or anything else. I literally have one more Lockwood item to download, and that' where it's stuck for me now.
Yeah, I can understand. One of the error messages blew away my chance for a free PS3 game in the PS Store, and everything in the PS Store is loading too slowly. I was getting Dead Nation before this happened, but I was able to get another chance at it from the EU PS Store.
Also, apparently I managed to get all my items. YAY. Unfortunately the system scared me by making my rewards and a good chunk of my items vanish. Fortunately, a reboot found them again.
I just downloaded all the stuff I wanted. When I got error messages I just went back and forth in the menu till it loaded correctly. There are a few things I wanted that are avaiable like the Paris furniture and ornaments. The garage has a really nice chess board. The things I had already were Novis Prime escalation and tiger stripes. I actually don't mid everyone got Escalation, now Ill get to play coop with more people. The tiger on the other hand is disapointing. I jumped in a game and everybody had it. Oh weel overall happy with everththing. Just really want to try the casino!
I Thank them for the gesture but karen is right Sony can do better it's E3 week and we get nothing new as a special thank you let's pray they can keep the hackers away.
I got my items now, I fell asleep watching netflix on my ps3 and woke up about 3 or 4 hours later and was just going to turn it off but decided to try and go on home and get my items and it worked ok had a few errors on price but just had to reload the item to get it to work.. Now just have to finish my game downloads..
Don't forget you can get some rewards at the playstation plus club and now it should be a little busier I would imagine I'm quite pleased with the content on offer, so no complaints from me.
