You make a ton of ryo doing this. Earning 100k demon points will net you about 40k ryo.

Guessing it'll be stronger attack wise but won't have metal rod's uber defense when blocking. Gran does a decent job of keeping the weapons...
R1 blocks and it almost nullifies damage completely with the metal rod. You wear the armor for the extra attack, the extra defense barely helps.
Not sure why you think a round takes 8 minutes. You could do it in 5-6, counting the load times. The leaderboard isn't always up to date either.
