Hi all, Just a little poll to see what region of Home you all like best and why, so please vote in the poll, plus post saying why you like that region the most
If you'd asked me this 2 years ago my answer then would have been Japan by far, but now almost everythings pay to play in every region, I have to vote EU purely based on the fact we actually get a constant amount of proper games promotions and content. LBP Home Square, PS All Stars mini game, games related rewards from Home Square and the latest Deadly Premonition items for sale, to name just a few recent (in the last year or so) promotions.
I used to prefer Japan by far. I liked the people more. There was less griefers. No dancing on female avatars. No sticking their face in my crotch. I loved the events. That's really what I want in Home, the big community events. A loved the concerts. I love the April Fools. But haven't seen many events like those in Japan or anywhere now. And most of Home is either "stuff to buy" or "buy stuff to help you grind at a minigame". And I don't really have it in me to grind in Home now. A lot of Japan is based on grinding and slowly getting rewards. And I just can't spend the time now. So mostly I stick on NA where I can buy stuff, or not buy them. And I don't really do games that eat alot of time. But I have done some like Ogre Extermination.
I always liked Japan Home better than anything else. Events-wise, they're the best when it comes to holidays, anime, and exclusive game events, and celebrating their own custom holiday themes, like White Day, Ohanami, and Setsubun. Since I'm always the Japanese enthusiast and despite the language barrier, this was always my favorite.
Japan of course still has many free events and tons of rewards if you pick any other region your lieing to your self
