Let me start of giving little bit of warning about my post so please forgive me if sound bit pissed off. First of yes its late here in Australia and reason I up so late because I have the cold so onto bit of a rant. Once again Sony has build up my hopes and let me down in big way. So I herd it was mysterious zombie apocalypse spreads on Central Plaza, I yet to see one zombie in Central Plaza plenty freaks (no offence) but were are the dead, Are they on holiday away from Island of dead. Oh OK, ok maybe going bit to far. But honesty it took me 10mins to get free 4 t-shirts and yeah I like design as something new to look at but honesty song could gave them away in cinema by watching their movie about. Them t-shirts are nice reward there. So look at the picture they use to sell the idea, me my friends got very excited because we thought we throw zombie party on Saturday night at zombie apartment. Because we were planing a zombie march at siren and then threw Central Plaza. Here once again were Sony had great opportunity to make little cash threw a game launch and they let it slip threw there little fat fingers. Please understand I not hating Sony its just this is what Sony good at. Maybe I just jumping the dead zombie corpse to soon Hmm, See here good example of how they could market better. When KillZone 3 invade Central Plaza at first I roll my eyes thought great another crappy t-shirt to collect. Once I enter the space my jaw drop and hit the floor it was such awesome spot that for time it was up me my friends stay there all the time. It even made me pre order the game. For girl like me I never buy a shooter I usury not for me. But Central Plaza and home made me buy it, I so not disappointed in it mind you it made me get killZone 2. that my point this whole thing on dead island was mistake and tech me never get hope up again. However… Wow I really saying a lot huh?, I was in two minds to write this post as I new on here but felt I had say something. See when go in stores there just handful of game stuff to buy and for me that sucks. The people who do the Q&A and test them really need sit up and tell them that mini games like this are that mini boredom and not really giving anything. If its up to me do what they did for killzone and give away nice costume in parts or allow us to buy one and stop using fake images to market stuff what look nothing like space. Ok I said my bit now I off to find a zombie and see kissing it make me an zombie.
Ohh, don't you worry, the Dead Island CP will "evolve" over the course of August. You will see more havoc coming, just you wait. As well I heard you can pre-order the game similarly like Killzone 3 event in CP and get a Dead Island HOME related costume by pre-ordering(?) Art of Ronin, God love your reply very witty and funny. Thanks for telling me that because that give me some hope. Yes I know of the pre-order link in space but the problem with that its to Amazon.com if I remember right. The problem is pre-order my copy threw a game site what getting me game stop one limited edition at $67 and honesty sure spending bit more but there are for stuff with this one then Amazon so its no brainier what one to go for. MMMmm Brains. But honesty I get costume threw other means witch not hard to do if you know were to look and pay little cash for it. So question, Dose the space change once a week or is it daily change? Reason is I hate to miss daily stuff if I happen not be on because with class and sleep I don’t hang a lot on home on weekdays. Hey hey, no worries with the witty speedy reply. Don't wanna post a reply being bore, dry and cut throat information session. Well, if you already pre-order the game via Gamestop online or in store in Australia and sticking with the pre-order bonus from them, then its alright. Am more prone towards the whole rare HOME game pre-order costume, so am gonna stick to that if something is available with HOME CP Dead Island pre-order. To what Locust_Star's post with Dead Island CP event being "evolving" it could be every week Thursday HOME update thru out August. May be next week we will see a section of CP being obliterated by the zombies and a new section of mini-game open up(?) Well, so far that is just my speculation and as Levar Burton from Reading Rainbow show would say, "You don't have to take my words for it..". Until next week's HOME update, I hope something will "evolve" with the Dead Island event. Stay tuned... ~__^
Yeah I agree with you about the whole idea of a evolve home CP sounds very cleaver idea. I looking forward to next week update then. Oh home costumes addiction huh ? That cool some of them rare game costumes were nice like the one came from killzone 3 The jetpack helgast was very awesome I own that, was thinking were there any others before killzone 3, If so love to see em. For me my most favourite game costume would be hmm yeah toss up between the bio shock and the silent hill ones as they some my favourite games.

The evolution idea is a good one. The actual execution of it is typically terrible. The "game" does work, for once, and you do get what you paid for, so to speak, but to lead off on this foot without any real indication to the end user that there is (supposedly) a lot more to come... just seems dumb to me. There should be indications all over CP that something is amiss and things are about to get ugly. You should build suspense or even terror in zombie movies/games. You certainly shouldn't start off with a strange tongue-in-cheek pop quiz about zombies, in which no answer is technically wrong. Much better to build suspense, curiosity, and a little fear. Central Plaza, right now, just feels like a social misfit showing up for a blind date. On seeing his date's disappointment, he says, "Well, yeah, but I'm going to evolve into a more interesting date. We will have dinner and rent a movie, and eventually we'll do the sex and you will like me better than you do now. Meanwhile, though, the bus is due at the corner in two minutes. We should go." So, I'll give credit for the concept, but really, I think what shows up on our doorstep needs to be a little more interesting to start with or else it's going to be hard not to spend the whole date texting with a friend about what was on TV last night.
