the only place i have found them is in the theater kiosk. and the warning is that many of the items in the sale are not actually on sale. many of them are at their regular 25 cent price or lower like the thinker top for 5 cents. about maybe 50% of the items in this sale actually have a reduced price. i just thought people should know.
some of those items are regular price but were not being sold in the stores for a while, they are like second chance items which were taken out of the stores. notice the bridal wear that is on sale, bet the new grazella wedding clothing is coming to replace them.XD
At least the grouped them together. It's impossible to find the cheaper stuff in home easily without a massive search, or just luck. A few of them are useful and worth a quarter.
I think so too, I picked up a bunch of parts and pieces that I thought I could use for other purposes. I already had most of the furniture items offered and nothing there is a big loss to the stores.
i think these items will be gone after this sale. the tab says last chance. and the video and posters for the sale say get them while you still can.
And that's probably why they're grouped in the first place, with only some of them actually being at a reduced price. It's enough that it got me to pick up a few things more than I would've gotten had they not implied that (namely the tube top and ruffled skirt combo ^^).
It Does Seem Like It Will Be Gone Forever When The Sale Is Over. I'm Glad I Picked Up A Few Items Especially That Harumi Top Which Was Given Out Free Long Ago .. So I Snatched That One Up Real Quick ;D
HAH! That's the one that got me to buy anything at all from the bunch in the first place! XD I love this top, it's wicked awesome...I've been wearing almost nothing else since I got it. XP
on one of the posters i seen in the hub for the sale say over 500 items are on sale and that they will be gone on 11/17
yeah im sure its basically confirmed now. i watched the video for it and it syas once this sale is over in mid november these items will never be available again and will be deleted. if you look in the actual stores all these items are jsut the bottom maybe 4 or 5 rows of items in each store for home originals. i but i wonder if things like the hamster costume will still be available from the home starter pack. in the home starter pack i recieved the male bowling outfit which was deleted from stores before the starter packs release.
I bet they will add more this week, they sure don't have 500 items right now. a lot of the clothes are ill fitted and badly shaded, not really worth having. the wedding clothes being removed make me think we will see Granzella chapel after all, I hope! :biggrin:
I wouldn't take them for their word. They do mislead. And sometimes they plan "games" to earn a fast buck. Not the good fun kind of games, but manipulative ones. I've seen some these items in previous sales. Some were even for free. Several has always been free in other regions. Some items aren't even discounted. They are the same price they were last month.
No, all the items are already out, you need to look at all the places they're offering free items. 255 in Mens, 235 in Womens, 36 in Furniture 255 + 235 + 36 = 526 items total. And yes, perhaps the "prices slashed" advertisement was false/misleading. Either way, they're listed under the category of "Fall Blowout Sale - Last Chance" when you look at them from the New & Featured menu, so the real focus is that these aren't going to be around any more.
Lol I Was Expecting 500 Women's Items, Heh Didn't Bother Looking At The Male's Or Furniture .. Probably Why I Was Shocked To Hear 500 Items Then I Remembered It Was Both Genders Combined, Lol Silly Me.
Sales is all about perception of a deal, if you think its a deal then it its a deal, guess how I make my living lol
I doubt a lot of this will be removed. Why remove it if people will buy it. But then, if no one wants some items, they should be removed anyways. Btw, take a look at the male deep sea diver costume. There is a 3 inch gap between the head and the chest piece. That's not going to hold out the water well! That looks awful in the previews when you have the head and chest on! That SHOULD be removed!
My guess is these items (mostly being the older items) aren't being bought very often, even by new Home users, and so they're getting rid of them because they're taking up space in the Store. But before they remove them, they're letting us all know that they're going to disappear, so that we get one last chance to grab them. Who knows, maybe if a few items sell really well they'll keep those items and only get rid of the real junk; I've seen places and companies do that as well.
