It's really too bad because he is/was a shining example of what a Community Lead should be. Hopefully they'll find someone like him as a replacement. It would be nice if we got that type of communication here in North America http://www.community.eu.playstation...-Thanks-For-All-The-Fish/m-p/12301666#M324487 ___ Thylaudax Home Community Lead So Long, And Thanks For All The Fish A little over 14 months ago I joined SCEE, and shortly afterwards made my first post to the community here. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time working with the Home team here at SCEE, and with you all here in the SCEE community. We’ve seen some ups and downs, but I firmly believe many more ups than downs. Home, both here in the SCEE region and globally, has been making, and will continue to make, great strides forwards. Unfortunately, it has come time for me to let you all know that I won’t be sharing that future with you as the Home Community Lead. Some of you may know that my day consists of two lengthy commutes either side of my time in the office. It’s been expensive, and a big strain on my social life. So when an opportunity arose to take up a role in my adopted hometown of Brighton, working with some former colleagues and friends, the decision was not a difficult one. This week will be my last working with you, the SCEE Home community, as well as my colleagues of the last year and a bit here on the SCEE Home team. I’m going to miss working with the team here: they’re all genuinely friendly, enthusiastic, intelligent and devoted individuals who work hard to bring about the best updates they can. So, if I may, I have a parting request: don’t judge the SCEE team on what gets released this week. Or next week. Or the week after. Take a look at the big picture that only emerges over time, and keep in mind that producing an update for Home isn’t as simple as clicking your fingers. What saddens me the most about my departure from SCEE is that I won’t be here when some exciting plans for the future are finally revealed and ultimately made available to you. 2011 looks to be a great year for Home, so let sleeping dogs rest in peace (poor Binx!) and look to the future. Good things are coming .
I wish all his best with his future endeavor. I may not know him, but Thy sounds like a good HOME team member by my book VS our NA HOME HCMs...
