    Sodium 1 apartment? Are you referring to the salt shooter game/space or Blaster's Paradise?

    It's been that way for quite a while. I wanted to add the Sodium teleporter to mine a few months ago and couldn't. At the time, I had one item in my apartment, a Vickie statue being fried in the middle of the transporter, a victim of slow load times, lol. Anyways, I was trying to get her out of there, but couldn't add another item so that I could hit 'x' and retarget from the new item to Vickie. I got a message saying that the item limit was reached.

    yeah, figures that Sony would have the Salt Shooter Apt be a 'locked' room. a few months ago i had the S2 teleporter in the S1 room so i could go from S1 to S2 without using the hub or the Nav, oh well. even when i went to add something to it, it tells me 'this is not your apartmen' WTH?

    Its a common issue with sodium one some items could be added some couldnt, you will find being blogged on psn forum back into 2009, truth is it was never meant to have the ability to add furniture in that space, at first it told you it was full dont know wot the message is now

    They likely removed the telepads to prevent glitching in the space. I heard a rumour that certain individuals were running (or flying) around the battlefield. :sneaky:

    o_O;;

    Not sure what that post meant, it was unclear. But Of course there are worse problems. Doesn't mean that this isn't annoying.

    by wot I can gather you were lucky to be able to put any items in there at all, the space was supposed to be furniture locked from beginning, blogs about this issue date back to 2009, looks like they have sorted the issue out before sorting my more annoying apartment issues out lol, I remember it telling me that is was full without any items in there, a mate of mine confirmed he had grayed out add furniture button way before outage. I havent gone there since before Christmas so its less annoying for me.

    Yup, spot on. I recall the EU forums discussing this and I'm pretty sure the official reply (remember those?) was that the area was a launch space for the game and did not support furniture as the game took up too much memory. This seems questionable as glitching allowed furniture placement without affecting the game.

    It's not the first time they've tried altering the space either. Remember when it turned into a public space? Wow, the ingame lag was awful! Still, funny that you could have a whole ton of folk in there, all in different costumes and yet furniture was too memory hungry to allow.

    So, they've now fixed the issues. It works now as it was always supposed to. Still, as the 1.52 update was meant to make it easier to implement gamining environments, doesn't that shove a whole load of code over to the core engine and free up space within the coding of the apartment? I'd have thought that would mean furniture was less likely to be an issue now, unless it has not been reoptimised for 1.52 as they've been working on restricing it for so many years now that they didn't want to give up until they'd achieved that, rather than taking advantage of the greater opportunities offered by the new core.

    The mind boggles sometimes, it really does. :)

    I was confused by this thread at first as well and went looking for my Sodium 2 beta active item. And when I took it out I noticed the orb is now gone from it. Aw. :(
