Hi all, Here at Your PlayStation Home, we are always looking at ways to make the site site better for you the community, with this in mind i would like your feedback and ideas on how the sites rewards database can be made better. Eg: being able to link to a reward itself and not just the database. So please post your ideas and feedback here. Thank you.
A non-flash version of the rewards items would be awesome... it would make it easier to link to certain sections as well (depending upon how the pages are set up, that is.
I think everyone still would like to contribute in updating their current rewards. I know that sometimes Carla brings up older rewards, but newer games form Peakvox Labs, for example, could be updated once in a while.
I think the non-flash version will be the best upgrade we have seen to this already great site. I keep thinking that it can't get any better and then the bar is raised again. It really does make searching for particular items easier and the picture tab layout makes everything more identifiable and easier on the eyes. Great work again Carla!
A few ideas... When you go to a section of rewards (Pot Noodle section for example), it may be cool if it were possible to have a link to a discussion thread devoted to that particular reward group. A few example from the past would be a discussion of the VR Aquarium as we were trying to figure out what rewards were obtainable or the fishing game in the EU that had some rare fish only obtainable at certain times of the day that were needed for the free personal space. It would also be nice to have an alphabetical listing (for quicker scanning) of the sections rather then scanning by what events happened chronologically.
Links can be added to the reward area's, when you view for eg: Cog's by the Cog's logo i can place text, much like when you view the main SCEE listing
A none flash version is ideal for me, as I always have my iPhone on me when using home. (especially atm due to my broken laptop )
I had an idea for items used in your personal space. Would it be possible to include a size picture? It could be as simple as a dark square representing the item with a silhouette of a person standing beside it. Great site by the way.
The systems made, but data needs to be entered into it, this is like some 3000+ items that needs to be entered into it, what i might do when i get so much of the newest rewards entered is stop entering them into the flash version and just update the new one and link people to it. But place a clear link back to flash version for info on passed rewards why i port all the data over.
Hey Carla, I have a suggestion. Right now you have a semi-transparent circle with a line though it that covers rewards that arent available no more. It covers the entire image of the reward. It's not as easy to see it. I was wondering if you could make the graphic smaller and in one corner. You don't have to cover the image for us to understand it's not available any longer. I also would like the rewards to be arranged alphabetically. Like Aurora Rewards are on top cause it starts with A. Though you might want to include a small section that shows the most recently added rewards. Maybe add a little more on HOW to get a reward. Anyways, that's my input. It's really a great database. And it's come in handy many times.
Oh Cool! Opps, my bad. I didn't know you could do that. Shoulda known you would be on top of that. But how do you get there? Usually I just go to the nav bar at the bottom of the forum header, select Rewards, select SCEA Rewards and end up here: http://www.yourplaystationhome.com/page-2.html And once there, I don't see any options on that page to change the order of the list. I think most people are assuming the functionality isn't available. I'm using Chrome and there isn't any pulldown like you show in your graphic to change the order. I'll have to check, but I don't think my ipad has it either. I just assumed you couldnt do it. hmmm...don't see it in Firefox either...what browser is that that let's you change the list order? Or am I on the wrong webpage?
