Here's a thread on how to get through a cosmos full of Simsomorphs. :rifle::taz: Now all we need if some peeps who know how to play it. I can confirm that an arcade cabinet of Savage Cosmos placed in a club in the EU region allowed my EU-based avatar to win a reward, so hopefully it will allow me to win all the rewards if I can get good enough scores. It seemed like going left early on was a lot short than going right. Yes, great tip. Please post any hints or helpful tips. Thanks!
Seems the rewards are based off an in-game achievement system (called Medals). There are 15 total, and I've earned a few medals myself already. I don't have all the ones below but these are ones I've either earned or noticed in the Savage Cosmos promo video.Dont Cross the Streams - Exit the ship without entering the same room twiceCan't Touch This - Exit the ship with 3 livesWith Walls like these, who needs Enemies? - Get electrocutedIts Space, No one can hear you Scream - Read instructionsThe Puzzler - Exit the ship with the minimum number of rooms visitedFat Burner - Kill 20+ Hunterites (Savage Cosmos - Hunterite Hoodie M/F)Cabin Fever - Visit all 3 exit rooms in one gameBullet Time - Shoot an enemies FireDay Tripper - Visit every room in one gameSpeed Demon - Complete 20 rooms under timeSpending my Quarters - Visit the four arcade rooms01010101 - Beat the developers clear timeCome Here Often? - Back to the beginning...or are you?The Tourist - Exit the ship having visited 20+ rooms (Savage Cosmos - Kinnonaut T-Shirt M/F)The Exterminator - Exit the ship having killed 50+ Enemies (Savage Cosmos - Sweekee Hat M/F)Here's the video for those who haven't seen it yet. The rewards also seem to be region locked. I tried from my NA account and got the 50+ kills but no reward
Forgot to mention that in the above post, I had Diamond visit from NA and try the game out and wasn't able to earn anything.
Ooh, and I'll add. The game is free to anyone who visits another with the purchased arcade cabinet, not like another silly arcade cabinet that was released just recently.....*cough*
I think I managed to map the entire layout of the Savage Cosmos game, its a bit of a crude drawing but I'm gonna see if I can get it to a grid program online to make it look more neat and legible. I might ask someone for help on getting it finalized.
Updated my post there, you get the hoodie for killing 20+ Hunterites. I assume they mean 20+ kills in one game. Hunterites are the fat green booger monsters lol. Hint - Pause the promo video at 0:43, those are the ones you need to kill.
And at just under half of the price of the same silly arcade cabinet. I wonder which one will net more cash for its developer... :whistling1:
Hopefully this arcade will be blue print for any cabinets released in the future, not expensive, anyone can play, rewards,
Hmm, even after mapping out all the rooms (should be 41 total) and exiting, I still have yet to receive Day Tripper. Either I mapped it out wrong or there might be a secret room somewhere. I noticed in my map there's a space missing in the very upper left corner, but checking the rooms around that corner I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary. Has anyone else reading either earned Day Tripper or the mystery medal that I have listed as "Locked" in my first post of this thread?

Only played it once too busy trying to be social, to be honest I wish they would bring out a decent two player game that we could be at least a little bit social with really, rather than this ive got no mates single player stuff.
Wow Carla that's freaking awesome. So much thanks to Chad and you and ev1 else for making this thread work! I've been so busy waiting around at that aquarium I haven't had a chance to tackle this. Big help!
Just got Day Tripper. I had followed the path of a user who earned the medal earlier and got it myself, suppose either my path was missing a room or it wasn't registering with the game correctly. Anyways, here's a working path you can take that'll get you Day Tripper, credit to Retro_1973. (Btw, I'm just posting the directions. Someone is free to actually apply it to the map Carla made if you want. If not then you'll have to print out her map and draw it yourself) START ROOM UP UP DOWN DOWN RIGHT UP RIGHT RIGHT DOWN LEFT UP UP LEFT UP LEFT UP UP RIGHT UP RIGHT DOWN RIGHT UP RIGHT RIGHT DOWN LEFT DOWN LEFT RIGHT RIGHT DOWN DOWN DOWN DOWN LEFT UP UP UP LEFT DOWN UP LEFT UP LEFT [FINAL ROOM] Then back down to the bottom right EXIT room ASAP
I went ahead and PM'ed a few of the users on the Savage Cosmos leaderboard to see if they could fill in the blanks about that last medal, including yony5 whose ranked #1 at the moment. One of them got back to me but wasn't sure how to get it, haven't received any other replies just yet. All I know is that its a bronze medal so it can't be anything too crazy. Its probably something really simple that I haven't thought of trying yet, killing a certain amount of one enemy maybe? :wallbash: EDIT: Not sure why I thought it to be a bronze medal...nevermind :bash:
Started playing this and guess whose name is number two overall? I'm currently trying to memorize the pattern Chad put up by Retro, that with Carla's map, is making this a lot easier. I"ve also messaged some of the players on the top ten board and hope to hear from some soon. Apparently Chad got a reply from YONY5, which is nice, but YONY speaks Spanish and hardly anyone speaks that. Ha! Wait a minute, we know someone extremely fluent in both Espanol and English. Dan the Man! Maybe if Dan and YONY can message each other, we might find out what the mysterious hidden medal(s) is/are. BTW if you guessed Chad you're right. Great job!
Oh for sure, sorry Dan. I'll try to find out what the question is we need to ask Yony. Maybe I'm missing something here, but if the medals are basically hidden and don't give a clue how to achieve them, it makes it rather difficult to even ask the right question. I suppose if it's particularly difficult or just so strange it's not easily found then most players are aware of a hard to get missing medal. I finally was about to make it through that pattern with about 2:30 minutes to spare when I saw my point total was a little over 300K and so I decided that wasn't nearly enough and went up a screen seeking more points. Bad idea since the grid above the exit is one of those truly electrifying ones. Still I almost made it back but for a single little flaming ball getting me. Guess I won't do that again. I'm left wondering how everyone is getting such high scores though. I would have been to every single grid and yet had only half as many points. Clearly some other tactic is needed to get high scores. Perhaps mining points somewhere. Any hints would be helpful.
