They eluded to it being old tech, so out with old, more like the foot flow has gone and no profit being made, because if it was tech issue surely UFC would of been on list but as soon as they get rid of that space they got an issue with possible refunds on non working personal spaces. Should get rid of non working spaces first, then old ones, as long as there are replacements of a similar format coming through, if we keep replacing spaces with free to play, pay to win places thats all we will have left.
Wow there finally getting rid of the modnation space that was supposed to be gone like a month after it released lmfao
I bet Buzz! HQ and the old Resistance space is next. I'm going to try and play a few rounds in Resistance, don't care if I get a hoodie in any region but gonna try for two regional accounts for it. Maybe later this week...who knows...
NO NOT THE GAMEr"S LOUNGE NO NO NO! They need to rethink this! I mean really? AN actual original space?! No that has to be kept.
Believe it or not, the NA Home team said they were gonna update their survey stuff and give us more rewards for entering the surveys, but as time flew by, no new surveys were given out and the space was dead. Not even the Liar's Dice game gave any rewards, so it wasn't really good.

[/QUOTE] the concept of hanging around there talking games and game launching with different people was a bit misguided, as most games have find game mode or you join random games anyway, which is a lot quicker than going into home and finding someone. I wouldnt judge a space by how many rewards its gives, id perfer decent high quality working spaces and little rewards, than some of these one trick spaces that give out loads of mundane rewards that really arent rewards because you got to pay for something else so you can win rewards.
I agree with the last part of your post. But Home does a lot to build up our friend's list. And new spaces bring us into Home. When the original Cantina debuted, we flocked to it. The space inspired people to talk about Star Wars. And people met people who liked Star Wars as much as they did. People were added to friends lists. And they could play games together. Now if only they would make a Macross space in NA, then Firefly would be set! But I do agree, I like spaces like Cantina more than Midway. The whole game launch feature is actually a great idea. The reason it sucks is because the ps3 only has 256mb of pure ram to multitask with. That's way too little.
id love to see life style places not so specific as macross but a anime space perhaps with trailers or short films running in background, and some new music spaces set out say in a saloon say with country and western playing in the background, reggae playing on a beach even use some current spaces like play rap music in the playground, use genre specific internet radio as background music in public spaces with themed surroundings basically. fed up with spaces that require me to buy a stupid outfit to win a gold teapot. im well positive about game launching with friends if we get bored of home or fancy going to do something different then we game launch and never had a problem with it. most social games we use as extensions to home are gta, rdr, midnight club and uc3 mostly, actually i met a long time psn friend in cantina but ive got as many friends requests from playing games as going on home
