Update on PSN Service Outages – PlayStation Blog Found this on the blog page - not very helpful as usual for Sony I have not been able to sign into the PSN now for over 24 hours - forums/blog...... but as of yesterday - no issues on my PS3 - of course - haven't tried this morning Anyone else having this issue. When I hit "login" - I keep on getting a maintenance screen. JPConway
This problem has been going on for hours. I noticed I couldn't add funds to my wallet 12 hours ago. I couldn't log into the forum for 14 hours. I finally got knocked off line almost 3 hours ago. hopefully this will be cleared up soon...
I was on my PS3 yesterday - both on Home and playing DCUO - but as to the forums/blog - been a no go since yesterday morning. Have yet to try my PS3 this morning JPConway P.S. I need more coffee - the title should read PSN Service Outage - its early - my brain and fingers are not quite communcating - lol
It's down worldwide Eu set up a thread. They will announce when it's back up there. PSN Outage today Thursday 21st April 2011 - Official PlayStation® Community -PlayStation.com
Tdarb (in Georgia), Xlr8life (in Vegas) and I we're in a club meet last night (early morning) ... the three of us left to go meet others in Sodium when all 3 of us poofed, and couldn't get back on Home ... meanwhile our other friends had no problem ... shortly after, the 3 of us lost PSN altogether at the same time and it's still down
ALL of my accounts get a 80710A06 error.... I hope I'm not MAC banned and it's just the same error everyone else has. Can't see how I would be banned. I'm a goodie goodie in Home. Never even hack. Worst I do is a furniture glitching. ^^
Yes, you are ban FF..Bwahahahahah kiddin' kiddin'..Its funny how I have import items from the past and they still do in my inventory as each version of HOME gets update it and nothing has happen to me since 3 years ago.
I haven't been able to get on PSN, since around 11:14PM last night. It's 10:53AM, right now, I gave up at 7:00AAM. I really had an urge to play Warhawk for the last 3 hours, but I know I'll have to wait. Sony needs to give us all oreos or something, while we wait these things out. I am so hungry for a cookie, right now. I wonder if I have any ice cream left. Hmmm... Must look for some treats, while I wait this out. Who knows, maybe I'll get a nap in, too.
Hey Art, don't joke! *cringe* I've accidentally Mac banned by sony before! I was using the same credit card I always use on PSN. And suddenly one transaction their computer screwed up and accidentally labeled it a fraudulent credit card. AND MAC BANNED MY WHOLE MACHINE!!! They had just changed their transaction program slightly to be more sensitive to credit fraud and over did it. And banned a bunch of us. Took a week of arguing to get it banned because they did it December 24th and the people were too busy celebrating christmas to help me.. JERKS. Thank you Sony! btw, I still use that same credit card on PSN. It's prefectly good.. Always has been. BTW, I notice they always seem to do changes to that program just before xmas for the new year.....Stupid idea. If Sony messes up, people get banned for a Sony CHRISTMAS gift.
Yeah, I gotten myself more yen to add in my Japan account, but now this is happening. I hope this will be settled soon. BTW, everyone, tomorrow I'm going to go meet my family over at Charleston, SC, so I'll be back on Easter Sunday, just in time for PSN to work, and for the Gooslings reward.
Getting the same error message FF in all regions.. Official Sony explanation of that code : An error occurred during the install operation (error when downloading game from PSN - network error occured LOL Yeah that helps!!
Sony posts $852m profit: PS3, PC sales up By Nilay Patel posted Oct 29th 2010 10:56AM Sony got itself back in black with a $293m profit last quarter courtesy of improved PS3 and Bravia sales, and the good times continue: the company just posted a second-quarter profit of ¥68.7b ($852m). The Networked Products and Services division that encompasses PlayStation and VAIO was Sony's strongest performer, with revenue going up five percent to ¥369b ($4.6b) on top of 3.5m PS3 sales (a slight increase), a 40 percent increase in PS3 software sales to 35m units, and "significant hardware cost reductions." PC sales were up to 2.3m units from 1.4m units last year, and Bravia and digital camera sales also increased, to 4.9m and 6.2m units, respectively. Now for the bad news: PSP sales continued their precipitous decline, down 50 percent to 1.5m from 3.0m last year. By way of comparison, that's the same number of PS2s Sony shipped this past quarter -- maybe it's time to break out a totally new PlayStation Phone, eh, Sony? This is for fiscal year 2010--thats well over a billion dollars in profits for the first half of 2010. Just thought some might like to see the numbers....and they cant sustain a secure, reliable and stable network? Things that make you go hmmmm
Just wanted to add a weird bit of trivia.... Today is Judgement Day. The day computers were predicted to turn against us. The day Cyberdyne's Skynet system become self aware according to Terminator 2.... Home should never have allowed a new version to go online on Judgement Day..... It was bound to cause problems.... ;D
Can u get on-line with that to play the old games yet. LOL! That might be an idea if people are bored. To Me it looks like Sony servers are down for good. I think they went Bankrupt and had to shut them all down due to a court order. Well u never know! By: DCS
Up to about an hour ago that error code would show every time I try signing in, now there's actually a "PlayStation Network is currently undergoing maintenance" message.
