Well Home 1.65 is out and along with it is a new list of problems, have a lovely community here is be nice if people could post problems and also any fixes or work arounds for problems with the latest version of PlayStation Home.
Try deleting just the settings file. It seems to be fine now after freezing every time I pressed start.
Since the update earlier, whenever someone's screen name or an object's name shows at the bottom of the screen, under the name it says, "You have targeted an interactive item." I have never seen this before, and it does it everywhere I go except my club house. Is it a bug or did it come with the update. If so, it really sucks :yucky:
Going to Options- Help System and turning off Prompts should stop this happening, seems it was turned back on with the update.
Cheers Rach, this prompts were annoying. :thumbsup:No problems so far, but it's only a matter of time.
posted on the forums: We've identified an issue in the server configuration that meant some users crashed when pressing start to open the menu screen. We have now updated the server configuration so this problem should be fixed for most users. If you're still having a crash when pressing start, Tempest_Fire
Heard that the control panel can freeze if you go into it and after say checking where a friend is, or what reward you just got, you go back to come out of it, then it freezes. You can press ps button and quit but nothing else
I had a few connection errors tonight. I was on the JP server initially, showing a space to a friend when a connection error occurred. When I tried to return to my personal space, I couldn't enter it and kept getting disconnected. Later, when I was on the US server, I had some disconnect error too. This occurred again in my personal space, but when I was in my wardrobe. I was disconnect and had trouble entering Home again, though, after a few tries I was able to get on.
I've encountered another bug related to the Island Bungalow. I was placing furniture in the space when I received a message saying I had to many items stacked together and I needed to remove some items. I tried to do this, but I was unable to actually remove anything, I just kept getting the same message about having to many items stack close together. I've even tried to remove everything but still got the same message. I haven't tried deleting the file yet. I'm just wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem.
did in loot space station ages ago then it just seemed to sort itself, try walking to a different furniture spawn point
But the change in setting is no longer stored, meaning it's active again after every new start of Home.
Okay, not 100% certain this is the issue but I can't access my personal spaces, keep getting a D5...error. Coincidentally, my NA account keeps trying to respawn me into my personal apartment because that was the last place I visited. So essentially I seem to be unable to fully load Home for NA. Tried re-installing Home again but to no avail, still getting the D5 error. Any tips and or work arounds would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
There is a possibility that the cause of the errors may be punks doing Denial of Service attacks at Sony. That is just conjecture on my part. But it would fit the pattern. You just have to wait for the service to be restored enough to get in. But it's probably not on your end. Spawning or teleporting to private apartments seem particularly sensitive and buggy. This may be because Home relies on the connection to your ps3 to host the space. When we are in an apartment, it's the owner of the space that serves as host, not Sony. This may be particularly vulnerable to disruptions in service. Your best bet is to have a friend in home invite you into home.
