Site feedback New Image Gallery, Please Read!

Hi all,

The sites image gallery as been given a real big update, so this thread is to outline some of the updates that have taken please.

New Gallery is here: Gallery | YourPSHome.net - Your PlayStation Home Community or pick Gallery from site menu.

But first i want to point out a few things.

• Old Old Gallery images have been restored.
• Images from the gallery before this one, users need to upload again, they can be accessed here: Media | YourPSHome.net - Your PlayStation Home Community
• The old gallery is in read only mode, due to the above, so users can save any images, this will stay this way to the end of the year and then it will be removed in full.
• Your albums/photos count might display wrong, to you upload a image into the new system, this forces a recount.

Now moving on to whats new.

• Album style uploading returns, this means you group your photos into albums, for better viewing.
• Categories are still here, you can now upload your albums into a categories, to keep albums better sorted.

• Lazy loading of albums: This means as you scroll down the page, more albums load (like how your wardrobe in home loads, just much faster ) this saves having to click to jump pages, and saves reloading the site.​
• Image Tagging: You can now tag a album to say who was with you in the photos, you can also tag each image to mark who is who on a image (tags only show when mouse over)​

• Your own gallery profile: You now have a area that shows your albums, photos, photos your tagged in and you can set any of your images to a banner image.​

• Also of note, every image can be used as a forum av, gallery banner image, album cover, via quick links on the images page.​

• Share your photos via social networks, or get quick links to share your photo or add to a forum post.​

• Plus loads more i have missed ​

Also note we have a few little bugs still, that most will not even spot, but we working on fixing them, but for now please view: Gallery | YourPSHome.net - Your PlayStation Home Community or pick Gallery from site menu and let me know what you think and what categories you would like to see.

Also if you have photos in: Media | YourPSHome.net - Your PlayStation Home Community please transfer them to the new system, also for albums in the new system, please edit them to be in a category.

Also i made a error with some code today that stopped you being able to upload albums, this as now been fixed.
