Intellivision is set to have it's classic games enter the world of PlayStation Home, with classic games from the 1980's like the iconic games Astrosmash, Shark! Shark!, Night Stalker and many more. The games will not be full on ports of the classics, but remade versions with the freedom to try out new ideas why keeping the games recognizable, the Home teams aim is for the games to play and feel like the originals but with added levels, features and challenges.
I bet if they wanted Home could be able to run Mega Drive games, i mean you can make Sonic in flash so I'm sure it could be done in Home, come on Sega....
Can't believe I'm seeing Intellivision after all these years. lol Wow is that a throwback--I loved that system. I still have my old console (with Intellivoice and all) and probably about 40 games or so, but have not tried to actually hook it up in years. I'm dating myself now, but George Plimpton used to be their pitchman back in the late 70's/early 80's and I believe he did some work on ColecoVision later as well. Night Stalker and Astrosmash lol 2 of the early classics on that system. Somehow, I don't think I remember Shark!Shark! though--must have been a later release after I had moved on to ColecoVision or the Atari 5200. I feel like I just stepped into a time machine.
ooo good news!i wonder how these games will be presented, like in arcade cabinets or what?An arcade space?hmmm
Wow...we've come a long ways. Kind of scary, but I remember it like yesterday when I look at these pics. Don't call me old either lol
It would be nice to see some the old games in Bowling get replaced or at lest some new ones added into the mix there.
I think I see the Lost in Space robot in there! And Robby the Robot from the old old Fantastic Planet movie.
