I was just wondering how many others are having the same problem as me. I keep seeing blue abysses. It's not every lounge. But every once in awhile when I go to a lounge I get this empty space. Nothing in it. My screen is all sky blue colored. I can see my avatar. It seems to still work. But no lounge. I can see other avatars. But the environment is gone. Sometimes it's completely gone and my avatar immediately starts falling. With no ground below me, all I can do is fall. Other times the lounge is still there. My avatar doesn't fall, and it can bump into objects and barriers. But everything is just sky blue. A few times before this got so bad I would get lounges with missing textures. Trees that were pure white, etc. Looks like something is screwing up the downloads of lounges. And the only way to solve the problem is to clear your cache or reinstall Home. Is everyone else dealing with this?
Happened to me yesterday at aurora and a bunch before at granzella and lockwood showcase clearing the cache fixes it Usually although yesterday at aurora I had to clear my cache 4 or 5 times before the space worked properly
Presently trying to see something other than the sky in Aurora. Nothing loads, not even the game mechanics.
Not happened to me thus far- a few of my friends have though. Have other somewhat related issues with purchasing items but not receiving said items.
I first started experiencing it on my EU account, at Granzella. Well I didn't think anything of it. Until I was on my NA account, and it started happening at Konami penthouse. So I cleared my cache twice, and it fixed that problem. But then, it messed up the Aurora space for me in the process and it became the blue abyss. :/ So I had to clear my cache again, but only once. Also, I had a texture problem tonight in central. Like half of the environment was there...half not.
I can't enter my mansion garage now cause of that error. But I'm going to live with it since the public places I like loaded okay. So far. But I've seen that blue-only screen so much I've given it a name, FUBAR BLUE. LOL. Fubar is military jargon for F'd Up Beyond All Repair!
