i had a problem getting the boots i quit home after home loading i got the boots.

We could use a general thread to talk about Mercia. Rather than start a second thread, How about we make this thread into the rewards and game advice thread for Mercia?

I don't get the prompt to enter. But I followed friends into the space. I got some of the rewards. On my main account I got all the female armor but only a male chest. On my alt acct I only got female shoes and male chest. I guess the rewards bug is at work.

When I entered the space, all I can see is that huge logo.....

 

Mercia rewards are currently having a female hockey helmet moment for me they keep turning up when I enter home, even though ive thrown in storage twice, and dust 514 drop suit is doing the same, plus most of the tick boxes on e3 activity board have unticked themselves

For those new to the game, to use magic you first need to find the magic stones. But you can't avoid finding them, they are part of the tutorial.

Once you get them, go to L1 to bring up your inventory. Press R1 until you reach the page that says STONES on the top. At the top left are slots for stones. Top row is for weapons aka offense. Next row is armor/defense. it doesn't really matter much where you put it though. I put the red (fire) and blue (lightning) stones on the top slots and green (healing) on the armor slot.

There's still one more step to do. Exit out of the menus. Then HOLD R1 down. You should see a circle that has symbols for your stones. Use the LEFT JOYSTICK to choose a stone. Then press SQUARE or CIRCLE to assign it to that button. You can only use 2 stones at a time. Can't use the third until you reassign stones again here.

Feel free to use healing as much as you want outside of battle. Magic replenishes sloooowly. But in battle, healing is too weak to really help much. And to be honest, I didn't find the lightning or fire that great either. I found it best to just add the fire and lightning to the sword. And slash the lizard guy from behind.

btw you can exit the game in the lounge and rejoin it by waving your hand. Pretty cool trick! Btw, if you change clothes, the game still forces you to wear the Mercia clothing when you reEnter the game.

Hi guys. This looks interesting so I am back on Home for a bit checking this out. I followed a friend to the space and after logging off and on Home 6 or 8 times I finally got all 8 pieces of armor. Then, the space had disappeared from my faves (which I had saved while in the intro screen), so i went to recently visited and it was there. I'm in now and I am going to try to play a little before I sleep. Thanks, D-Nit

Edit: Even with the tutorials above and elsewhere I wasn't smart enough to use anything other than the sword, but that was more than enough. I'm sure the full game will be more challenging. Maybe too challenging for me. Anyway, I won the headband(s) for completing this in-Home demo. Good luck. I hope you have/had fun playing Mercia. The E3 booth was fun to visit.

 

I only got the female headband after beating it. I played through several times too, but it's not letting me get the other headband at all.

I know that the demo is played with lots of people, but it's having issues so it's hard to get the demo.

 

demo has not been good ive got male headband only but I only dress as a male, demo was easy but as with all of these type of games the real game will be harder to get you to buy better weapons and power ups

 

I know that you still can raise your "fame" (XP) in that game, so it's the best way to buff up yourself. I also notice that the title stays with you until you log off of Home after playing the demo. Kinda bugged.

And, yes, I played as a guy, since I'm a guy in RL, and got the female headpiece only.

Hello everyone,

Unfortunately the Mercia: Fractured Realms Demo portal has been taken out of the E3 space due to the server load issue people were experiencing yesterday. We're working diligently with Sony to get this resolved and will keep you informed as and when we have more news.

There is still a way to play, however, you just need a friend who's saved the space to invite you in - then once you've received all four of the Warrior's Starter Pack reward items and equipped them (this may take a little patience and perseverance), you can play! Make sure to save it to your favourites so you can keep trying to get in.

We're really sorry to everyone who was looking forward to it that hasn't been able to play it yet. We hope this method will allow you to give it a go! Good luck and please let us know what you think once you've tried it.

yh I noticed that my fame was stuck with me lol, £3.19 or $3.99 that will buff you up once the games released, you dont have to be Sherlock to guess premium items are going to be involved
