As long as the glitching doesn't effect a game, I see no problem with it. The second it prevents a game from happening, then it is reportable. Naturally, this is just an opinion.
As The Above Replies, If It Blocks A Game Or An Event .. I Will Report It. I Glitch Myself But Only On The Central Plaza Benches Or Red Bull Beach To Go On The Outside Perimeter Of The Beach I Don't Go Into Home To Glitch Anyway .. LoL ;D
I only report someone glitching, if it's disrupting a game. I file the report under Disrupting Games.
Or to get people stuck in holes... lol. I see no problem with it as long as they aren't bothering anyone.
As beta testers we should probably report our own glitches to Sony, and get commended for our good work :rolleyes1: I enjoy standing on things like benches and high places from time to time...I also use the E3 peep in spaces to jump on things. The most satisfying glitches to me are those that don't appear to break any rules. For example, someone who has never seen Home will think it's normal to be able to stand on a bench or chair (when I was new I thought we could stand on the platform in the Gamer's Lounge) - but if you're glitching to where the textures are all messed up / cut off, there's no denying it's a glitch. I also agree that disruptive behavior, glitch or not, should be reported.
I only do it if people are in my way and I put it under disrupting games...I reported two guys yesterday for table glitching in scorpios and getting in my way - when I told him he could get suspended he was all like 'you aren't authority' and I said no it is friendly advice, why risk getting reported on an account you have spent money on? I know two girls who buy practically all the new clothes that get realeased and then have had to make new accounts cos about 3 of them have been banned. Waste of money.
I only glitch at RBB and well ummm damn near everywhere that's glitchable. But never on to a game that people were playing. Like i did glitch onto the pond in CP not to long ago but that was when saucer pop was gone so it was just a useless pond. And yea even though i'm a glitcher i still report others for game disruption if need be
I've never really understood the allure of most glitching. We can be on the roof?! Ok. Outside the spaces' walls?! Ok. I'm "standing!" on a chair?! Ok. Guess my mindset is a bit different than some but when I go to a movie I don't make an effort to think of how many ways that film is unrealistic. I also think most of us do the same, we suspend our disbelief to some degree and allow that cars are suddenly transforming into massive robots to fight for earths survival, for example. Similarly, when I go on Home I want it to be a virtual reality to some degree. I even walk sometimes as opposed to always running just so it seems a bit more real to me. Of course I agree with the majority here though, if standing on the rail at the Ford space is an exciting adventure for someone, good for you and go for it. But the moment that glitcher turns into a glitcher/griefer, as in running around on the Baseline Battle court while I'm trying to get to level 10 one day, then I'm not happy-go-lucky about it. So I end up reporting him, then reporting his other fam friends that typically are nearby and also compelled to run around in that area, dancing, laughing, generally being the type of Home glitcher/griefer I would nuke their PS3s if I only could. I'm not as patient or as forgiving as some I suppose. But then I don't think that type of individual is something that most want around either. Do all the glitching you want, just don't turn into another glitcher/griefer (Gleefer?) please.
Like everything theres a minority that wanna be idiots, id report idiots no problem at all doesnt have to be glitchers
I think that getting onto the bench in Central Plaza is the only public space glitch that I know how to do. I stood up there once to see if I could do it. It seems that standing on the bench at CP is not much more tolerable than standing anywhere else in CP for any length of time. Otherwise, I just like to glitch my personal spaces. It certainly makes the spaces more original and expansive. People who visit seem to enjoy seeing the environment outside the spaces. Something different at least. As far as reporting goes, I'm with the majority here. I wouldn't report anyone unless they were interfering with my game.
