I noticed a new member mentioned they can't get on home cause the tv is broken. But there is a way to do it if you are using a standard desktop computer with a monitor. There are inputs on a computer monitor that you can use. One of my ps3's use a LCD monitor. That's why I say labrat is deaf, because I was too lazy to hook her up to sound. Or rather too cheap, lol. But you're tv is out, you can buy a HDMI to DVI cable. http://www.amazon.com/DVI-HDMI-Cabl...ZHN6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1322688079&sr=8-1 You can also use the normal composite audio coming out of the ps3 for sound, you just need something like a stereo to plug it into.
Yep, pretty much any LCD/LED PC monitor with HDMI connection works. Range from smallest at 19" to massive 27". So take your pick and enjoy HOME in a portable form. If you have money to blow, why not set up a good projection screen and have a massive 100" screen for HOME! LOL.
There's actually a new tv I saw from an electronics show. It's a portable hd tv. Uses a wireless base transmitter. You can tote it around. I think it was about 32 inch or so. It's meant for gamers who want to move around the home. Don't know if it's going to take off tho. Btw, you don't need hdmi. Hdmi is best. But you can use a hdmi to dvi converter. And just about every monitor today does Dvi.
