This thread is for our developer friends at Codeglue and discussions about their items available in EU and NA Home. Your ideas and feedback are welcome. Please say hello to our newest dev member, Peter De Jong, CEO & Founder of Codeglue. Here's a link to an interview we did a while back with Peter here on YPSH : Your PlayStation Home - EXCLUSIVE to YPSH : An Interview with Home Developer Codeglue
I know he was joking when he mentioned the wooden shoes, but elmo took it seriously so here's a couple great ones.
Hi Karen, Thank you for setting up this thread. And hi to all on this forum! If you have any feedback on the items we have created, we would love to hear them! Karen already has given great feedback, but we would love to hear from the rest of you as well! Suggestions for new items are welcome as well of course. In the near future will release some more male clothing, companions and some more dresses. These are mostly done, it's a matter of getting them through the Sony QA process We are also investigating the creation of a complete game space. We are working on a few designs, but we were wondering if there is something you guys are really missing? Elmo-JO, cool shoes! Not exactly what I had in mind though. Heels are pretty tricky to create BTW. Cheers, Peter
Welcome to the forums!!! You know, I always thought womens heels were weird in Home. Every inch of heel means the developer cut off another inch of your leg! Your avatar head doesn't get higher. Your legs get shorter!! Technically you are taller barefoot. ;D
Yes, I'd like to suggest two things. 1 - A proper MMO. We have Sodium and Novus Prime trying their best but a decent fantasy or sci-fi MMO game would rule. How about some nice dungeon hacking with a class system? Just think, you could sell costumes for the different classes, a whole ton of weapons, spell scrolls for wizards and maybe a handy spell book to keep them in... the list goes on. 2 - A CCG game. Now this would be a total license to print money. Set up a space with tables and chairs. The tables are gaming tables for the game and the only place you can play it (although a table and chair active item set for apartments would also be nice). Then, you just keep churning out cards which you sell in randomly assorted booster packs. Have some starter decks too of course with pre-set cards. So, all you have to do is draw a pretty picture, apply some stats and rules and there you go, a new card. Keep selling these (with each booster limited to proportions of common, rare and ultra rare cards) and you'd be laughing all the way to the bank. A good portion of the cash would be mine, but I'd be happy. You could have your own theme or even base it on a whole range of existing PS games with cards for favourite characters and so on. Hell, other companies would even pay you to make cards of their games if it caught on. Low effort, big profits, lots of fun.
Ahhh, gotcha. and thanks when I heard wooden shoes I thought about heels and clogs. But I am interested in seeing more from you guys in the near future. I know it doesn't really change the height of the avatar in heels, just was suggestions that I saw at that moment.
Yall seem to make a lot of cool creepy items. I have the chair and the guillotine. How about a space where we can behead people or I guess something using yalls creepy style. I know I would be there. Otherwise you said in the interview you guys were interested in making arcade cabinets...well I say bring it. Heck bring a whole space full. I dare you!
I think a radio that streams internet radio into your personnel space or a tv that streams u tube into home if I want a decent game ill buy a game
