Taken from the North America: Censoredship Problem with Dead Island Logo in PlayStation Home | PlayStation® Community Forums ________________________________________________________________________ if you didn't know that they're is a problem with the Logo/Icon. Link here: Dead Island - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Here the picture about this logo: Top: uncensored Down: censored for North America okay. Here the picture of the dead island menu in home. They still useing it on the final version on North America Version the more and bad part on EU's Home that is: they still useing the Censored Version of the logo, reward with the censored one! But the meun logo is okay for EU. They made like to fix that! (PS: Sorry about the grammar check! Didn't have time tho)
Good Eye AL2009man - though not at all happy with this type of turn in events, 'censorship' in EU is a major sticking point for me. Especially when it comes to using the TEXT CHAT feature- it can and does get downright ridiculous at the best of times. Anybody disagree?
Some parts of the EU have real tight laws on 18 rated games, some places will not even sell them. The in game menu will be fine becasue Home will only let them whos age on PSN is 17+ (Homes age rating for it) gain access to the game. Pubic versions will need the edit due to fact it lacks a age check, so if you have the item in a personal space under age EU users could view it, what would be breaking the law in some places. People want a open world Home, side effect is it has to up hold the laws for ever region that people can access it from.
I actually like the censored version. If the game is about zombies why is there a guy hanging? Did this guy kill himself because he wanted to be a zombie pinata? Did somebody hang a zombie? wtf why and it wouldn't kill him.. he's a zombie. Maybe I'm missing something haha.mg_smilie:
Good observation Al! I like the hung version to make it more even level with the rest of "sland" text. But you don't have to take my words for it! ;D
