Ok so here the gist of what happened. This past week I went to the EU Home, for my daily Aurora points. I got a notice saying that the AutoSave function would either have to be turned off, or I'd have to delete some files. I didn't do anything at that time, and found out how to turn the Autosave back on. A couple days later I got the same notice in the JP Home. At that time my available space on my PS3 was 6500 MB. I took the time to delete all pictures, movies, game saves, and extra games. This cleared up nearly 50 Gs of space. I went back to JP Home and received the same information. I am a PS Plus holder, and was told that the automatic download and online storage might be full and causing the issue. So I cleared that out. My Home is set to 12 Gs space. I went through and cleared cache for each Home area, as well as went to Default setting on my main profile of my PS 3. I still have the notices popping up. I've written to Sony, but with recent events it may take them an extended time to return my letter. I'm hoping someone here has gone through this and knows a suitable solution. Thanks for you time and help. Iggy
An update. So now in the JP Home I can't play any games, they say my Data is corrupted. Things are even getting worse, much in the same a virus effects a computer. I've never searched online, and the only way I could have gotten a virus is through Home. So beware, I'm waiting for an answer from Sony.
Does anyone know what file the rewards are under, I may try to delete all files that are not reward related and just start everything else over and see how that fares.
rewards and purchased items are saved server side, so there is no game save for rewards, if you save the home games save files to usb memory stick you can delete everything, see if it works, then put them back
So basically I could delete all my Home files, and not lose the rewards, just start over on setting up the Home, and person? I'm willing to try anything at this point
So just deleted everything, went through the basic, Starting Home, process, and it seems that everything is working, all the rewards are there. Woo Hoo, now lets home this just doesn't happen again. One file was completely corrupted, I'll find out later when I do the same process for my EU profile. Thanks for info Gary.
no probs glad your sorted, if you back your homes saves up every so often it means you can roll back on outfits/avatar and furniture placement.
