Article: Home redesign update information, US & EU confirmed, Poker & FPS

i know several friends that will be pleased that poker is making a comeback. Brimstone Poker was ok but not as good as EA and Godfather 2 poker was just lame especially when it is the hangout of 'gangs'

 

They mentioned later this week? So does that mean we could start seeing the new content, or do they mean later this week it was posted?

 

if you can get to godfather 2 via an EU account it usually gets round all that gang stuff

an fps with home avatars, that sounds so cool, not the same as wishing there was a punch button sometimes in home square EU, poker too, i can't wait to see all this

 

yeah well, i never did care for all the posers in that room anyways. kind of a pain trying to play poker when some dippy crashes the room constantly. no fun i tell ya. ill wait for the new poker rooms, tyvm. you can region hop if youd like.

 

Great update - very happy they are bringing back poker and the FPS seems like a great idea.

 

Has there been any announcement regarding what, if any current spaces and games will be removed?

There are still some spaces I have yet to visits, and many games I have yet to play, and I suspect I'm not the only one. If some of these places and games are going to be removed, it would eb nice to know ahead of time.

 

So far, just CP.

 

in the release it says about still being able to go bowling etc wonder if they intend to incorporate all 4 of key public spaces square/plaza cinema bowling alley and shopping centre

 

This should be a very interesting new change to home, when it arrives.

Also looks like Loot has set the bar again. Active camera can now record straight to hard drive. Now anyone can record videos!

Edit: on second thought it doesn't mention the redesign, but they used a picture of the district map to show Home is getting a client update. I got too excited and just assumed it was for both, but I remember the blog saying they would come separate.

Oh well...one step closer and the active camera should be fun.

 

Just the core update coming tomorrow, not the hub yet, but I'd think this means it's coming soooon, totally agree about loot helping take home another step forward ;D
