Is it possible to buy active items individually, i.e. pool table, darts, etc... and if so, from where?
There is one exception to that rule. I don't know how they did it, but Conspiracy's arcade machine furniture items defy the active item limit. So you you can have 2 active items PLUS all 3 conspiracy arcade machines. The guy who made the conspiracy arcade machines is one smart programmer!
For some reason any arcade machine that "loads" is not considered an active item. This includes Cabin Boy, that shooter in a box from Midway and the Conspiracy games. If they were released for sale I would assume the same for Ice Breaker, Echochrome, Carriage Return, Mercenary madness and Motorstorm. I wish there were more of these items released for sale. I know I would love to buy more. Especially if it were something like Pac-Man or Tetris.
Also works with the arcade games from the namco demo. Can put all the games (dig dug pac man xevious and the other one, plus the 4 in one table) in one space, no problems.
Arcades are not a active item, because its just a 'case' that takes up no memory, the game is a stand alone download that installs on your system, thats why you get the download bar Active items, is a item that as a far bigger memory footprint duw to moving parts, sounds and that.
Thanks for the explanations. ;D btw, Free realms is not a great substitute for Home. But I'm really digging the 9999 furniture item limit!! Yes, 9999 items.
Arcades are an Active item... Both Space Ace Arcade and Dragon's Lair Both of these Arcades are Active Item's! So there in te Limit two per space groups! Also Note that these games can be played on any regions... But HK and Japan for some reason removed the arcades from those accounts afterwords... So u can no longer get them in HK or Japan... When they used to work there... I don't know if it was due to them being Active item's that HK and Japan removed them or what the deal was... There and In Game Reward so there was no cause for them to remoev them from those Homes... Go Figure! By: DCS
