Ok this is probably old news but thousands of PS3 are getting a 8001050f "unable to sign in" error message. Sony was aware of it very early this moring and have been working on it all day. This error is mosly effecting older "fat" PS3's and until it's fix you can't get on Home and they also suggest not using your PS3 until it is fixed You can follow their effort to fix it on Sony's Twitter account : http://twitter.com/SonyPlaystation -Peace
