Hi all, It's been some months from when we last heard about Big City Stories by Hellfire Games, but I'm happy to let you know that it's now in limited closed beta testing on the PS4 now and why i'm not able to share any video or images taken by myself, i can openly talk about it and share some images that Hellfire games have sent over. To start off, Big City Stories will remind you of Home Tycoon from the PS Home days, but now it's own game where you got your own avatar that you can personalize via the in depth character creator that lets you edit many many parts of your avatar's body, from bicep width/length to the size of the avatars breasts size and butt, along with all your normal edits and a lot more. Most of the clothing items let you pick from a wide range of colors to wear the item in, what gives you a great range to be able to personalize the avatar. Just like Home Tycoon the main goal is to make your own city and do missions to earn money and to grow your city, right now there is 36 missions included in this beta, but at launch you will have many many more to be able to play, plus day and night cycles. You can also place your own items within the city with from decorations, celebratory effects, mayoral items, parkour items, racing objects and evan signs that you can add your own text to. And lets not forget you can also drive around in the vehicles in the city or you can just walk/run and even jump around the city, but if you just want to chill you can also still interact and talk with our users via text chat or via a very large variety of emotes and dances, with 37 gestures and 32 dances in the beta right now, with dances from the likes of Samba, running man, twist, ballet and more. Yep Hellfire Games plan on having a open beta at a later date, we will post details of that soon as we know them
I have yet to come across anything linked to Novus Prime yet, but it will have more content at launch so who knows
Hey, I used to play Home Tycoon long ago, and I've love to give this a try! How would I get into the closed beta? And will there be a first person option? I'd really love some immersion and more of a free-roam aspect like interact with pools and all and even customize interiors of buildings e.g., your home, office, etc.
Is no first person view, but if you ask them and others want it it might be something they can add You can not edit interiors but you can place items around your cities, from flower beds, to signs you can add own text to and other items like fireworks and jump ramps and so on. I am hoping I can build a little village. One with 2 or 3 cottages if I so choose and perhaps a farming area. That's what I enjoyed most about HOME TYCOON, the smaller places with drives and even walks through the country side. I don't like zombies
You can not yet, its a closed beta right now. Will let people know soon Hellfire open it for others to join.
You can still have the small buildings and parks but you can also add other items to your city as if it was a Home personal space
No Panda head yet sorry, but I'm sure Hellfire will keep that in mind as they add and make more content.
