In Atom Universe, Graphical User Interface (GUI) is a way to interact with your avatar. One of the GUI in Atom Universe is the "Avatar Interaction" icon, which allows you to hold someone in your arms, dance together, hold hands, embrace, etc...
They really need to show some of the networking side of things. Single player demo is fine to showcase a look but we need to know how well it copes with a space with 60 odd other users running around and how well real interactions work.

As has been mentioned, this is just a demonstration of what Atom Universe will be like so people can see its potential. It was never meant to be an actual place to play the game. Even when we launch, Tanguy has been very up-front with the community about Atom Universe progressively introducing aspects of the game, like avatar customization, shopping, different editors, etc...etc..., everything won't immediately be available. Even though it looks like we might have met our original £20k goal, in order to get the game out to the community by this summer we need to push on and make our £30k goal. To do that, we need community help and support by either pledging with our KickStarter campaign, or spreading the word to your PSN Home and/or gaming friends about Atom Universe and our KickStarter campaign at bit.ly/AtomUniverseKS. I understand your frustration with PSN Home and its many issues, and anxiety about Atom Universe and it's capability to solve those issues, because I also played in Home for 5 years. I'm part of the community that will be playing Atom Universe too. However, with UE4 and the cloud that Atom Universe will be using, we are not limited by the PS3 like PSN Home was, so there is no comparison. In 6 more days we will find out if we reached our £20k KickStarter goal or £30k stretch goal, and that will put us on track to launch an interactive beta. If you want to see Atom Universe ability to handle user loads and use avatar interactions we need to get a beta launched, and the quickest way to do that is to support our KickStarter campaign at bit.ly/AtomUniverseKS. Keep in mind, Atom Republic only has one focus - Atom Universe. To Sony, PSHome was only one small project among many. We do appreciate everyone's support, and thank you for at least going and checking out our Atom Universe demo. We hope you will enjoy the game when it comes out this summer!
Home's problems was not really the servers and the buzz word "Cloud" does not fix underlining bad coding and server configs and over stressing servers. If the code is not sound and steamline than no matter how good of a server networking you have you will get bottlenecks due to the bad coding, this is something i feel Atom should be working on proving is sound and working, not adding more games to a export dev build from UE4. It don't matter if a platform has 20 games, if it errors and lags with a hand full of people loading and talking on it, this is where Sony went wrong, they kept adding single player games and never addressed the core problem of the bad networking code. The core of a platform like Home is user interaction between other users, that starts with error free fast loading and easy to chat with others and make friends, we have yet to see any of that side of Atom, a user interaction with a precoded NPC is not the same as how that will work when that NPC is another real life user.
