Congrats to the winner. I was pulling hard for Argentina in the final, but the Germans were just too good at this World Cup. Might have helped that they were the only team to build their own private training compound in Brazil (complete with a hotel), just for the World Cup. Not sure why more teams didn't do that considering all of the outside issues in Brazil. Cost likely, can not be cheap to make your own training compound, just for a world cup. Germany won because of plans they put into place many years ago, after England beat them 5-1 in Germany in 2001. They went all out with young players to build them into a great team, not just great players, why at first they had some bad games, slowly as they grow up it all worked out.
