This level of money grabbing is damaging, for experienced users it represents more reskins on one day than truely is necessary. A new user hasn't got a hope to understand what's going there, plus if your then expected to part with the money it takes to buy 1500 acorns, well you probably wouldnt. Hmm... it kinda weird that they seem to be less free reward compared to April acorn meadow the April one seem to have more reward because I got bunny hop teddy & more
It's a nice enough re-skin, but when you level up into the 40's, it gets tougher to earn Acorns. The law of diminishing returns definitely applies to AMP. Unfortunately, most if not all of the tasks required to earn the Birthday Party Personal Space requires me to spend hard-earned Acorns. I thought about it - a lot. I decided to pass and just go for the freebie tasks which rules out the possibility of me earning the personal space. Park races , skateboard tasks, dog park tasks, and the seasonal freebie, the clown's cake task. But I still haven't seen any of the freebie tasks yet, they've all been lake race tasks requiring a boat rental at 20 Acorns a pop. We'll see what the next re-skin brings. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It appears that in order to get the Birthday Acorn Park Personal Space, you need to complete 5 particular "races". Not the everyday variety, but ones whose icons appear as a cupcake. I have only seen ONE so far and it was for an RC Helicopter challenge. BTW.... I updated my "Tasks" post above with how many acorns you need to spend to do each.
About the golden items in the 3D Printer machine, I was told by Veemee themselves that the gold items will not be presented in Asian AMP, nor in the machine under Asian regional players, since their region has stopped updating their Home region. So, if you wanted to purchase those gold items and send it to your Asian region avatar, or to the Asian AMP, or if you're using an Asian avatar and gifting it yourself, you won't get it. Don't forget to pick up the free 3D Printers in the store inside the 3D Printer itself! The golden items for AMP (BMX bike, RC car, RC jet, and skateboard) will unlock hidden task objectives and earn XP in the NA and EU AMP. Earning the Cupcake car will also be added in the RC stand and perhaps unlock a hidden objective and XP.
The reward is from finishing all birthday RC races, the ones with the cupcakes on them - so yes, that task needs to be finished.
What I meant was, do I have to buy one of these "golden items" to have the Cupcake Car appear in the store? Then do I need to buy that in order to finish the tasks?
No, you can use your old items you've bought or hired, or use the gold items for the birthday RC races. The gold items just unlock limited objective tasks when completed just once for XP. I haven't completed the race with my new Cupcake car though, but it'll probably be the same like the gold items. Once you beat all 4 special RC races of each, you get the new Cupcake car. Hope this helps.
Obtaining the BDay Apt is even more expensive than previously thought. I tried joining for passenger rides with a friend in a Cupcake Boat and the Lollipop reward never unlocks. So the task description on the Notice Board is misleading-- in actuality you must be a Cupcake Boat owner who rides with another Cupcake owner, in order to unlock the Giant Lollipop (female).
I think you can use the yellow hire cupcake boat for less and still get the reward, once you let someone in your boat. In EU, I didn't buy a 200 helicopter, but I used a 40 hire rescue helicopter,and got my helicopter tasks done, plus the birthday task done as well (and I still got the Cupcake car reward afterwards). Pretty much, leveling up for meager acorns is such a joke to them. It's not very pleasant. They should've pumped it up a bit more than this kind of crap.

Well, I gotten the 5 party dogs already, but they're kinda cool and I don't want them removed. Plus, I've gotten the apartment already, so it's a bit too late for that. Glad to know they're gonna fix the bugs and keep the event up and running longer.
