I have seen peepsies play tag never done this game before so well if any rounds are up in the future I'd still love to join in before missing that chance. My jp is Mira-iHikari and I am at shoei a lot lately saving up as many points as I can since I didn't really take that chance before only understood the space shortly before they announced its end first thinking ok I'll visit every day or so for a bit the points will add up. But then short after... Ah well so now my jp is parked at shoei and I go afk to return every 30 minutes or so to collect points in between. anyway if I got new minigame rounds I'd love to join just poke me I may be afk but I always return. Do note most minigame rounds are spend on the bike game so it may be possible that I need to wait and save up new.
Hiya all! Oh, think I can drag myself along for a game to a game… or 50. I might even be able to drag another along with me if I ask nicely My schedule is wide open now that the never-ending 3-week-long Final Challenge from Money God Family day cycle has finally ended. Whew! 've had my first decent sleep in weeks, plus I think I've even a few brain cells returning! Just let me know when. I will help also, I'm on late except Tues, Wed and Sun. which I can get on most anytime. I'd love to the maid's picture.
Since Money God event is over, count me in as well. (BTW, the LMO red emoticon hat in Shoei won! And, there seems to be a NEW VOTE in the Shoei Voting Box already! I can't quite read what the message says, but when I clicked on it, I get something like Message something in Japanese. Baron also took a look into it and she saw 3 answers to go with what the vote is for. And, I've seen a few people already choosing votes now. If any of you can translate on what it is and what 3 options are, we'd appreciate it!) Japan Home has also announced that all Shoei Kingdom buying items will be discontinued after March 26th, including the personal space! Okay, the final vote has opened for me and the choices are from top to bottom: "Good job, take it easy!" "I love you!" "Hope to see you again!" You just choose a final message to the King and his co-horts. You don't win anything, only a new title. Kinda crappy that they didn't give you another shot at the winner rewards that was won previously in the voting box.
I can think of a lot of less than nice messages I'd like to give to the King to send to Sony Japan right now...
I was thinking of the same thing. lol I'll be playing Shoei Tag today, so if anyone wants in this Saturday, come on in here, and bring some friends along.
We've a few people over at Shouei right now waiting to play… but we only have five total. Would appreciate any interested users coming over for a Saturday play date! Hope to see you there soon… [fieldset=Sterling Malory Archer][justif]"For I am a sinner in the hands of an angry God. Bloody Mary full of vodka, blessed are you among cocktails. Good runs today. Thanks to everyone that helped and showed up. I will be planning on another group run tomorrow after 3pm EST in Shoei Kingdom, so be sure to come by and pick up a few rewards if you can before it's gone.
Japan Home announced that the Shoei Kingdom voting box had a bug during voting and it has been fixed. You're most likely to do it again. The problem was that people kept seeing the "Message sent" box rather than opening up the votes first, and then the "message has been sent" box. Announcement 2014.03.20 TeruEi kingdom lounge defect resolution Maintenance after the end of the (water), at the ballot box of TeruEi kingdom lounge March 19, Phenomenon that may not be vote but could occur, Thursday 11 at around March 20, this bug has been resolved. We apologize that your reporting to everybody is now slow. Bug has been resolved, Regarding those who voted failure before it is eliminated from the maintenance end of Wednesday, March 19, May not reflect the vote. To apologize for the trouble very much, concerning those who voted in the corresponding period, To have you try the vote again, thank you. We apologize to overlap that I did it to apologize for the inconvenience to everyone.
*sigh* And thus we have yet another example as to why full paragraphs of Japanese text should never just be dumped into Google Translate, with the assumption that it will come out making total sense (something I've been saying here for years). Google Translate has improved over the years with Japanese and other non-Roman-alphabet languages, and continues to improve — but the exact meaning of certain characters and the grammar structure continues to be a major issue. Want a better overall translation? DO NOT enter anything more than a single sentence at a time for translation! The more crap you throw at it at once, the more gibberish comes out the other end. Anyway, here's a quick far-more-accurate translation I did that should be a bit more comprehensible for English readers: 2014.03.20 Shouei Kingdom Lounge Notification of Bug Resolution After the end of the 03.19 (Wed) maintenance, at the Shouei Kingdom lounge ballot box, incidences of phenomenon of existing situations of being unable to complete voting, this bug has been resolved, 03.20 (Thu) at approximately 11:00. We extend apologies to everyone that our error reporting has become slow. The bug has been resolved. Regarding voting (up) until the resolution of the bug from the end of the 03.19 (Wed) maintenance, a possibility exists that the vote was not reflected. But due to the enormous trouble, those who conducted voting during the corresponding period, get to vote a second time, thank you. Please accept our apologies for the trouble this matter has caused everyone. Makes a little more sense now? I'm not quite happy with my 2nd-3rd sentences above yet, but I've other things to do right now — still, you'll get the idea. 'Nuff said. Not a waste of my time (well, maybe a wee bit … but naw, I had a few spare minutes). Has nothing to do with you. Google Translate really just rankles me because of how awful it usually is with Japanese overall. Just rarely make much sense — most Kanji forms have vastly different meanings depending on context or even such things as mood. I mean, I sure don't recall any day of the week called "wind", do you? It's nearly impossible to program in all those multi-millions of grammar & definition variations into their systems… for now. Someday, sure. But not this decade. Google is perfectly fine for a couple words & sometimes a few more, but a full sentence input is just begging for trouble. Rarely gets it correct. I almost never use it myself. Anyway, with Japanese, Google & similar translation programs are okay as a starting point for translation, if you know the language and/or can use a dictionary, etc. Otherwise it's just a mess, as we've seen all too often here. I've really wanted to also do proper translations of some of the other Google-mangled Home news posts put up in recent weeks/months, but it's a time thing. Got far too much of my own personal shit crap to deal with for the present (and frankly after three straight weeks of 18+-hour Final Challenge from Money God Family days, I need a very long break from stuff). Anyway, just think of the last post as a special gift translation from your friendly neighborhood brimstone & sulfur-coated winged Brain. Mwa haa haaa … [fieldset=Sterling Malory Archer][justif]"For I am a sinner in the hands of an angry God. Bloody Mary full of vodka, blessed are you among cocktails. Question: If the whole Shoei kingdom is being taken down permanently this Wed, why are they still doing bug testing??
I assume it's because they're just being an honorable developer. Since some users were unable to vote properly due to a previously unknown bug, they're just ensuring those people get their second chance to do so before it ends. I personally feel that's better than the usual developer attitude of "we're shutting down, so screw 'em!" But that's just my opinion… [fieldset=Sterling Malory Archer][justif]"For I am a sinner in the hands of an angry God. Bloody Mary full of vodka, blessed are you among cocktails. But this final vote is for a Shoei title, correct? What's the point of that when the space where the titles display is shut down? How will anyone ever see it?
Yes, only for the title. It's strange to me as well. Probably they wanted you to have it for the final week. Perhaps they will come back on PS4 and with Home exclusively within a year? Who knows. Everything is so puzzling, like for Money God and PS4. After the space goes down, Japan Home announced that 2 of the Ash Tree missions that has the Shoei reward objectives will be removed from the Ash Tree by tomorrow. Hopefully, you do have those rewards and have gotten the Ash Tree rewards from it already, but if you haven't gotten that specific Shoei reward, don't worry! You can still progress without it. I'm glad everyone had fun while Shoei Kingdom was around and bought any memorabilia you have from there, but it's time for the Huns to invade and destroy it. lol
Did anyone see this before? There was a free PS Plus theme for the Kikai Machine Empire back in last December the 17th (click on the link for the nice image). Asia PSN has it there under the free themes under their PS Plus too.
Tsunade1224 gave me a head's up about Granzella's Twitter page, and their FB account about a possible Kikai video for this coming AFD event this year, but it looks as though this is another parody on their part - using their 2013 Kikai human characters against the dinosaurs of the 2014 new application for Japan's iphones (it uses dinosaurs while taking pictures in them). Plus, it shows how the end of the dinosaur war panned out. I don't think it has anything to do with a PS Home event they'll plan out later, but for now, enjoy the video. (Totally love the "bro fist" picture to the Kikai Emperor near the end! I want that one as my sig/avatar. XD) Oh, and the 8% tax increase has come to Japan Home today. I checked in the Peakvox stores today just to check a few things and found out they increased their sale items a bit by 2, 3, etc. I thought this was another April Fool's joke on their part, but I did remember posting about it. I really wonder why they started doing this tax increase though. Are they trying to hoard more money into the PS4?
Japan increased their tax to 8% on 4/1 because of Government dept. The dept to GDP ratio for Japan is somewhere around 350% right now and climbing. Many poor countries (such as Africa) or financial trouble countries (like Greece) do go between 100 to 200%, but Japan's inflation is just becoming ridiculous. Even the corrupted US govenment is still hovering between 60 to 80%. The problem is government spending and rather than doing cuts, they keep increasing the unnecessary salaries of civil employees and the politicians. They're planning a 10% in 2015. And although not yet passed, they are planning to go for a 15% and 20% in the future. Japan needs to rebuild, and the current government does seem to acknowledge it, but haven't done it's homework. (still better than the Democratic Party previously holding office that did almost nothing but watching Japan fall to pieces)
