I am buying a PS3 in May but i'm worried that at that date it will be late and I won't get a full experience since the PS4 is launching this holiday season What do you guys think am I late, really late or Too late for a full experience?
The PS3 will still be supported and get new games for many years to come yet, because for the next 2 odd years it will still hold the biggest active install base of the two systems. This was the case with both PS1 & PS2.
Ok THANK YOU SO MUCH you really put my mind at ease.... Plus I have a foolproof plan for the Ps4 I am gonna sell both my 360 and PS3
They say the life span will remain 5 years even after the PS4 is released. The PS3 will have lots of content in the years to come, and will continue to. I usually like to wait awhile before buying something new to work out the bugs.
Nice, thanks for the reassurance I really needed it I'm counting down the days till May can't wait for that PS3

Well i just rebought my ps3. I sold my ps4 preorder for $560 and got a 500gb ps3 and a ton of games. Im going to keep it for a year then sell everything to get the ps4. My thinking was, why Would i buy a new system with 3 EXTREMELY expensive games. When i can get the system before it with a library of epic games. Plus i could finally start playing resistance, which i couldn't play until now ~username: purple622~
I've only had my own PS3 for a couple of months myself. I'm not even interested in the PS4 at this time.
I will not be getting a PS4 for a while myself....There is still a lot of life in my PS2 and PS3 still
