I would wonder why they would use the original home logo. There are two regions that are not going to be releasing new content on the current version meaning that to them two regions that version of home with that logo is no longer supported. so why use the old logo on the ps4 if it was going to be a new improved ps4 home. Rebooting home would be a mistake as it will create a fear factor of if it doesnt work and ive spent the same amount of money again and sony ditch it. Problem is no news is bad news as the speculation will cause all types of issues from users spend levels dropping, activity on home dropping and no new users trying it. Id say enjoy it while its still there if it stays good and if its goes then theres always alternatives.
You forget that Japan and Asia Home will still have their old content still intact and ready for purchasing after the discontinuation. But as of now, we'll have to wait and see.
Updates are the life blood of any MMO without them eventually it will become a virtual wasteland with less and less users. Users are now expecting an end to these regions so I don't think anyone can expect users to spend on consumables at the same rate as before. We have all seen spaces with no support and what happens when something goes wrong. Home relies on updates to create interest and excitement without them there can be no positive ending to this.
there are too many updates... why would I look for anohther skirt to buy, I hav e a hundred, half of which were free... I wish they would get cleverer with releases, such as bundles, such as necklace bangles & anklet, bundled as one purchase, but wearable seperately, most of all atm home is dead because I can't be bothered to scroll down through (& wait for them to load) 100 tops, they really need to organise the shop & to give us search functions, sort by price, sort by colour etc, sort by style. only the new content gets looked at ofen, because itcan be so awkward to sift through the old content. & selling the old conent as bundles at reduced prices is a pretty good & necessary practice... though I personally havn't bought, cos I'm not that keen on veemee fashion... if Granzella start that'll be a different matter.
When it came to Hong Kong's New Years, they pretty much blew it with their bundle special on clothing and furniture items from Sony years ago, and now their starting on other companies for their exclusive shirts for New Years. Asia hasn't had much events but only newer content.

I'm sure it will transfer to PS4. My reason?, I watched a JayTechTV video showing that all your personal PS home data is being transferred to the sony cloud servers. Why would you need to save the data? so that if something happens to the program that needs the data you wont lose everything . I'm sure this saving of data is so when PS home launches on PS4 you will have everything just as you left it on PS3
If Playstation Home will be on PS4 ill put my hands up & say i was wrong but i'm still moving on with Playstation Home as ive had trouble in the past on this account so that's why i'm creating a new account & moving on with Playstation Home it's boring on Playstation Home now my chat-log gets clogged up with Spammers saying Hello & Goodbye a thousand times males changing Gender & flirting with blokes have had a rather good & bad time on Playstation Home but it's time to move on with it there'll be better applications on PS4 than Playstation Home

There's also Gaikai,maybe they need the data if they put Home on Gaikai. To me it wont feel right if they do,I would prefer they build it from scratch specifically for PS4 hardware. Thats just my two cents on the matter.

There's still no news from Sony themselves regarding Playstation Home on PS4 the whole Playstation Community wants to know & C.Birch do i move on from Playstation Home (if it's on PS4) when i get my PS4 for christmas or continue using Playstation Home as normal still undecided
I think you should move to the PS4 version of home. I know I am also, from what I've heard we will get our spaces imported.
I'm going to assume JP will be announcing something after March 2014. (probably a 6 month notice of it's closure) Just like the previous announcement of no more updates for JP/Asia, NA/EU will need to announce something again. Items currently being released usually takes 3 months to 1 year of planning, development, debug, and submit process, so we'll probably know what course devs are looking at from a year from now. If less items and events gets released, then things starts to get fishy. And with Gaikai expected to be released for 2014, it's a possibility they might use that technology. So a mid to end of 2014 is the expected date of announcement with whatever Home is going. I'm going to expect Sony will be tight lip for the rest of 2013.
We'll find out when we get our PS4s & they're switched on for the 1st time myself personally the PS4 doesn't need it with the PS4 will have better applications i'm moving on with Playstation Home anyway once i'm on my PS4
