I played a few of the trivia and wizard duel games. Only won once on both, but you get cards if you win. Not sure if more wins give you rewards or not. You can also find cards lying on the ground in the alley to trade - they're bright red.

Haven't played the Book Herding game yet, so can't tell if those give you cards and/or rewards too.

 

You'd have to buy that, since I doubt its one of the rewards.

I found something out about that Gryffindor uniform. I did use a Pottermore.com account, but didn't link it yet, but when I came to the alley, I saw one of the shops having a door opened, Madam Something's (I forget the last name), and it was on the left side. When I entered there were 4 icons of the 4 cliques of Hogwarts and they were bundles on sale. Also, the across shop had only owls on sale. No frogs and cats.

 

Yes those robes are a purchase from Madam Malkin's, part of the Gryffindor Uniform Pack.

I got past the sorting hat ceremony before the Home update to be prepared. Am I right in thinking that the only feature membership currently unlocks is the ability to trade cards? It would explain why I can find nobody to trade with.

I was in the pottermore web site, I don't quit get it how to cast the spell
with the keyboard and mouse.

 

I had trouble with that also heres what you do.

Pottermore WEB SIGHT spell casting tips
1) Click the first letter of the spell ONCE!
2) A ring will appear, try to make the SECOND click at the largest point of the ring
3) When the line is on the NEXT letter try to repeat 1 and two.
4) Do this for all letter forming the shape for the wand casting of the spell.
5) Practice!!!
