Nah, thats not it. It bugged me as well so I asked one of them; there is a glitching method they use to gain insane levels nearly instantly. He didn't explain the method, and as soon as I called him out on it he left the space. And correct me if I'm wrong, but just standing there doing nothing isn't even a mothod you can use. Because you'd have to actively go back and forth between guest and resident every time you get 10 points. It's too late for this space, but hopefully new public spaces created after the coming update will be created in such a way to making it harder or impossible to cheat. Actually... I think the answer could be found in 'selling' public spaces as club-like personal spaces. That is to say, one member of a group would have to buy the space. It would appear and fuction like a normal public space, but it would also have club like settings. That is to say you'd have to be a member of the group to enter. I don't know about you, but I'd pay 5 bucks not to have to even see 'those' people. But Sony is too out of touch to even do something like this so...
The Shoei space doesn't do the "switching roles" anymore, and I know a friend who's already camped for yellow points legit and had reached 100K already. I still don't know how most people do it.

Just hooked the new Nushi in GAW. It is a large white dragon with gold accents. It liked the peach bait I used. I know you need the headphones to catch it as I was wearing it. But I'm still unsure as to which rod to use and the precise technique for actually catching it. I uses a lot of wind techniques when it jumps out of the water, so, perhaps the axe will be the rod to use. If anyone has any other ideas, or has a successful technique for landing this Nushi, please share. BTW, the first rod I tried was the three-strikes lightening rod, it wasn't very successful.
Funny thing today from GAW, I went to Sayaka and talked to her and she mentioned something about perhaps the 2 Nushis that I've caught. Not only that, but I suddenly got 3000 extra points back PLUS my gift box icon above me was now GOLD! I also used 1500 points of the 3000 for the frog statue in the rewards list. 3 more are still waiting to be unlocked. I was wondering what the headphones were used for - I'll have to buy some peaches then. In addition to GAW fishing, I hooked a XXL oni male last night with a height of 76, weight I don't recall - but when I talked to the ranking Kappa, he rewarded me with the Demon Nushi statue this month. There's also new rewards from the Tourist Girl on the swing in GZ South Beach.
Thanks for the tip on the oni Recca. I went back to finish, and I caught a 76.08 cm gold oni male last night. Talked to the ranking kappa and got my statue as well. Also I checked my gift icon and it is now gold as well, and I got the bonus points as well. I do have a new question. I went to my dojo, and was checking the number monster I caught in each category. When I got to the blue koi, I notice what looked like a wooden tile with the silhouette of a kappa on it. Any idea what that is and what it is suppose to mean?
That means you bought a companion from it, from the rewards list or you just bought it from the store.
the fifth icon above our heads there, the one after the nushi indicator. i was told you need to catch a specific number of certain kappas. Is this true, and if so which ones?
Was there an official announcement recently about a problem with hard freezes/crashes in peakvox labs that anyone can remember or link me to by chance?
They only announce about the saving/loading problems from their servers from a week or 2. They just announce it's working correctly now.
There was a problem with both loading and saving content in Peakvox Labs and Peakvox Ninja from January 23rd onwards. Load problems with Peakvox Ninja predate that -- it's been there from the beginning-- and that's due to having too many players on the server. I usually just leave and return to the space to reload it. Of course, the number of reports in Support suggest that having Home login and server issues was epidemic between Jan 25th-29th.
The one with the crown is the Nushi indicator on how many you captured. If you captured 30 after silver, you'll get a gold crown. The last one that looks like a coin is the leaderboards, in which you need to be on the 1-15th top lists for each month on any leaderboard directly - points, heights/weights on rods, etc. You need to keep at it for 1 month for bronze, 2 months for silver, and 3 for gold.
I don't want to create a thread with so little info, so I will just say it here. I played Peakvox Monster last night and here are a few tips; You can only play/host 3 times a day. And I think it's a full 24 hours. There seems to be an item you can buy with real money in order to shorten the that time by a few hours. However, if you can get invited or join someone else's game with no limit. (That's what my wife read but we haven't been able to actually do it yet.) If you are invited/join a game, and the players clear the level, only the host actually gets the [Clear] status. The points used to buy in game items, buff up your monster, etc. are also the same points you use to buy rewards. Now this is very cool; you can sell L Project stuffto get Peakvox Monster points! For people like me that are 100% in L Project, this gives us a reason to go back to Peakvox Labs. In fact you can make points faster this way then by picking up the (!)'s in the Monster space. After buying in game items with the points, you must go to the worktable to assign them to a key. Otherwise you can't use them in battle. In the 2nd mission there is a 'boss battle' with the big black whale monster. I don't really want to spoil it for people, but since you are limited to number of times you can play your own game... and I got totally owned myself, I thought I should tell everyone. He's really powerful. My advice is to either not even play the second mission yet, or use your points to a ton of healing items. Using a monster with a long range attack is also a good idea.
Correct, I was joining others games this evening, its the second option on the game menu but the game board seems a little bugged to me. It saves a list of inaccessible games so the best option is to ignore all the games that do not have a user name attached to them and stay to the bottom of the list as this is where the new games will appear. Anyone know how to use a higher ranking monster? I'm guessing its by increasing the friendship counter thingy.
Ah I see, so it is bugged after all. It seems like a simple process, so the misses and I were clueless as to why it wasn't working. I'll take your advice and see if that helps, thanks. I -think- you need to keep using the same type/class of monster enough times until a more powerful version is unlocked. I'm not in from of my ps3 but I think it was the bottom option when you go to the worktable. It has all the monsters sorted into different classes. Also, I think that monsters you already created in L Project show up in the little icon boxes. In other words, if you are 100% in L Project, by looking at this option you can get a feel for which monsters are totally new monsters created just for Peakvox Monster. (Those that have [?] in their Icon box/picture.) For example, the highest rank zombie monster is the zombie maid girl. But if you didn't get her from L Project before hand, her slot would just show a [?]. Since you can only play solo 3 times a day, but up to 3 more times per friend per day, this is actually a social game. In order to play as much as you can per day you kinda need to befriend new people.... either that or just invade the games of random strangers. lol It's a good game, and I'm sure it will take off even more once Peakvox ports it to NA and the other regions.
Does anyone know how to use the teleports in Home Square for the 1000 yen lottery draw? I'm not sure what it is I'm supposed to do.
If what my wife said is true, then its really a pain in the ass. Basicly you need to visit one of (or al?) the public spaces that show up on the 3 signs. You MUST do this. (Yes, caps.) Next few updates the spaces on the signs will change and you must visit them as well. After about 3 or 4 updates have gone by Sony will randomly pick 300 winners from those that went to all the required spaces. If you miss going to a space (or spaces) then you are out of the running. Anyways, that was her half hearted translation. I'm sure Faga could explain it in more detail. p.s. Labs and Ninja load fine for me, but last night and the night before Monster was super laggy. Like so bad the prompt to start the game wouldn't even show up. But even so, I see other people are playing it so it kinda pisses me off. I know I said this before, but they need to take a que from NovasPrime and just put out a personal space that can host private games with your 3 guests. However- you can still sell your lab stuff for monster points and buff up your monsters and get rewards even if the actual monster game won't load. So there is that.
