Ok, maybe we need a GAW guide now. I'm having trouble remembering which goes with what when I choose from options. >.< and I'm seeing people who need help too! Plus I think we still have no clue what to do in the new space.
In my opinion, it's pretty much another fishing space that has a leaderboard. It also holds the same rewards as in the previous space, so there's no newer ones than you'd expect. Plus, the area is quite day lit and the water is clear enough to see your lure.
I got 30 rewards from the Mew Mew Chamber cabinet in total, I purchased all 6 items being sold also. I got 4 rugs, 4 matching tables, 5 small and 5 large cat heads deco items as well as 6 male and 6 female cat heads.
I played the easy mode until it reached level 100 and it stops at that level. No new rewards after level 100. Seems like each 10 levels you make gets you a reward in each mode.
Hopper was greatly helpful in pointing out to do in the old GAW space. Problem is, I've been avoiding the new pool/pond space simply because "me too" -- I have no idea of what the two kappas are requesting... 1. How do I get the new (temporary, limited-time) Samurai sword to catch the mice -- Is that an unlockable benefit only available from buying the new cheese bait? 2. I've also won all 6 of the GAW plushies (2 kappas, mini-dragon, shisa dog, 2 chibi oni) from the Edo Shooting Gallery. Where do I go to get the reward for shooting all 6 plushie dolls? The GAW fishing sword I saw looked like blue liquid metal with a kappa head on the hilt. I don't know if there are any other rewards from the new fishing space. Thanks.
The samurai sword was only available to use for a limited time and was taken away yesterday, it was a nice gesture for those who don't invest in poles to get some new Kappas. The plushies were just a fun reward themselves, there is no reward for getting them all. ^^
The Cheese bait can be worked with the new 300 yen rods, since it uses the same method of capturing the mice using the freeze-ups. There's also a reward unlocked for 5 points on the new rods as a trial. In addition, I got my pink kappa statue last night, thanks to the new hot pepper bait.
I'm fishing in my LaGrange costume still and I'm getting lots of bonus points! ^^ It's going to be a long road with the pepper bait, 100 yen for 20 pieces. O_O
Quick question that maybe someone here would be able to answer. My friend spent 300 of the fishing point on the purple kappa head icon that is just under the trial fishing poles. The problem is we have no idea what it is. He claims to have looked everywhere for it and it didn't show up on his rewards list. Does anyone know what it could be? It has made me very curious. The picture was a purple kappa head with a yellow background that was for 300 points.
That allows you to. Talk to the purple Kappa in your Dojo so you may view your catches, progress and edit the Kappa in your Dojo. ^^

No, we need to start a guide. Basically the first few have somethIng to do with the dojo like adding 2 viewing areas, another one is so you can take pictures of your big catches. I dont know why your friend doesn't want the Dojo but for 20 points it's a nice space to view the Kappa and place rewards. I'll start a reward and pole guide, it may take some time but I'll get on it. ^^
I only ask because I wasn't sure if these rewards were limited and linked to the event that is going until 08/30. My friend and I both assumed they were limited and he likes the clothing rewards while I tend to stray towards personal spaces and furniture items lol
If they are in rewards then they are there to stay, the limited time rewards are usually related to purchases made or events being held. I have all of the rewards from the reward section as well as the purchase related ones so far, the only one I hear people gripe about is the peach chair which was given for a limited time but they did bring it back so chances are they may bring others back in the future. ^^
They brought the peach chair back because the initial event was treated as canceled because of the heavy lag bug when they first updated the space and needed to take it down from Home. Other limited stuff went according to plan, so pretty much won't come back unless they use the same rewards for next year.
Ok got my answer from Granzella on the tea items from Twitter: Granzella Inc. @granzella_inc @stevev363 Yes, they will remain as the reward even after the event. They are costly as these tea items are antiques. Antiques, Eh? :unamused: Well at least I have time to get them now.
For peakvox B-day reward talk to cake in lab space...then dance...then talk again. It's a little red devil thing (?) for your shoulder. (thx to Micki for info.) :thumbsup:
Those 5 point reward trial rods are only for in-game use only, so it should show up once you start the game, but only if you DIDN'T buy the rods to begin with. So, let's say the new blue rods that are worth 300 yen - if you didn't buy them, and used the 5 point trial reward, it will show itself up for use for a few times. The 300 point purple kappa head with the golden book shows the fish you caught, including the big nushi fish. For the Peakvox cake reward: Did you guys used the Tokyo Time Zone and did this or is it up now at the Peakvox space using your own US time? No, just the katana/mononoke rod that was for use in-game if you bought any of the swords from the Edo space. That doesn't include the reward swords you got though. There's also no reward for using it, rather than the peach chair Faga has mentioned. Yes, I thought it was. Getting 9900 points after 3 weeks would become tiresome and almost pointless. Good thing I've powered up my samurai ghost to level 10 to make things a breeze for me though, so it looks like I'll have to go mononoke killing again.
