Hey all. It's been a few days since the Avalon Keep was released and we wanted to get a poll going! Please leave comments, thoughts, speculation, ideas, and critiques in the comments :cheer:
Its a really nice space and has some great features. I would love to have access to the walls and tower tops. (without the aid of a certain item )
I just love the space! but would love to see in the future, more medieval themed clothing specially for females, simple the Gisele one is nice already.Cause my group HF got a medieval theme part we especially looking forward to see this space as a clubhouse! and on a side note heavy ..:hamsterdance: Queen of hamsters would love to see a crown for her hamster head, it can be done!:hamsterdance2:
Eve, this week some more armor and weapons are coming to Home. And we definitely have more clothing planned for the future!
Is this the gold armor that I seen at the 7x club store, will there be more? Also agree with Sam that it would be cool to get to the tower tops without the dragonfly and some outside furniture? Honestly I'm very happy this space already and is my favorite so far. Edit: just saw the white knight gear!
To be honest I like this space(and the crown is cute as well) I agree with both eve and sam would be nice to have access to the towers and more clothing maybe peasant style clothing could be sold as well as king, queen, prince/princess clothing. & more furniture items as well. Edit: Don't forget that torture chamber and bedroom
Love the space, love changing the color scheme and Love the gift machine! Over all very happy! Looking forward to the men's dress! XD
Alright. I've had plenty of time to test out the space. First off the problems - Your Sundial settings aren't saved when you leave the space. It reverts back to dynamic with the speed being 1 hour. - It is annoying to place chairs around the dining table. The slightest change can cause you to not be able to sit or get stuck when you sit up. The best I could do without driving myself insane is to let people climb on top of the chair to escape. I'm not sure if there's anything you can do to fix this but I felt I should at least mention it. - Thin objects like flooring get stuck in the carpet in the Dining room upon spawn. - In the Throne Room, the circular center causes objects placed to weirdly bounce and sometimes refuses to let you set anything on it because it'll bounce off. - I'm not sure what the cause is but sometimes furniture in the castle will be sent flying. Usually into a wall, laying face down. From my experience, it has something to do with outside placement and it occurs most often in the Dining Room. - Near the Sundial you can see picture frame prompts or whatever somebody has on the wall in the Throne Room. - Not a problem with the space but $7 for recoloring of furniture given for free is insane. Why on earth is it almost the same price as the space itself? You've got this space that's a terrific deal and you have these furniture bundles which are a gigantic ripoff. - Sometimes when activating the dragonfly, you will freeze. This doesn't happen often and there's no guarantee way to replicate it. It just occasionally happens. - You can't see the names above other dragonflies when you're controlling one yourself. - I find the crown and tiara hideous mainly because of how much forehead it shows. I really wish you could wear it with any hair style. Now for good: Everything else. Love the size, love the feeling of isolation from inside the castle and outside, love the JRPG art style, love the dragonfly, love how glitchable the space is, love the scavenger hunt and how well you hid the rewards. Although I think the last one should have been hidden in one of the tower windows. The npcs are a nice touch. I hope not all future updates to the space will cost money. I don't think you should charge for the bedroom and basement. The free furniture includes a bed and we don't even have a bedroom to use it in. Overall, this space is amazing. It is easily the best personal space on home. I will argue with anyone that says otherwise. You guys did an amazing job and I'm highly anticipating what future updates to it may bring.
What?! the crown is awesome, I agreed with most of your points but saying there hideous is cray cray...lol I LOVE the crown by the way!
Actually, I got to agree with Lunar on the crown. The crown itself is nice, but I don't wear it due to the huge forehead it gives my av.
I Haven't experienced any of the problems others are in the space, everything is in working order for me. Only issue I had was I got a little dizzy while flying the dragonfly, I was everywhere in that thing for 30 minutes looking for the spawn point on the balcony of the wizards tower. uke:
It's really a nice space. I like the size of. It. It's nice to have NPCs to talk with. I think it's very cute. I like my purchase, though I can't seem to find the wizard gift. Oh well.
It's great! At first, the carpetting in the main courtyard flickered terribly but that seemed to disappear as an issue. I feel that this could be an ideal area to theme a collectable card game around. Imagine getting a starter pack and then one bundle of cards each week from a machine (say 10 in all, 7 common, 3 rare and 1 very rare) and then being able to play the game on a special free table. Extra booster packs (the same as the weekly ones) available from store. Trading of cards should also be permitted. Perhaps some premium tables too from store and maybe premium display frames for walls that display your collection (and taunt you with empty spaces). It could help to expand on the backstory of the world, would be a great game and would appeal to collectors too. Using the Bartle model of gamer types, to examine the appeal: killers would get to develop strategies and design decks to beat other players, socialisers get to play and trade with friends, Explorers get to seek rare cards and collect things, roleplayers can revel in the rich backstory that is reealed. Ticks all the boxes as far as I can see.
